What with all this talk on sniper rifles and the, arguably heavy handed, approach being taken in regards to shotguns; I feel it important to say my piece in an effort to 'ahem' "keep the balance". To compensate for the shift that is occuring in our dear Crucible, I propose that the gain of an additional mechanic to sniper rifles is in order. Everytime the trigger of a sniper rifle is pulled there will be a 25% chance that instead of a bullet, the gun will fire confetti and make a fun party sound. In instances in which a precision shot would have occurred, a small flag that reads "Boom! Headshot!!!" will spring from the barrel.
This is inspired by the controversy over a certain luck based perk. The consensus deemed that having a perk that granted a body shot kill every one out of four shots took away from the skill required to use one such weapon. So it stands to reason that having a 25% chance of not getting a kill at all would substantially raise the skill level of said weapon. Seeing as snipers and the like are always so obsessed over which firearm takes the most skill to use, I fully expect this idea will be embraced with open arms by the sniping community. Indeed, the most skilled of snipers, no doubt overjoyed by this prospect even now as they are reading it, will go as far as to say that a 25% chance is not nearly enough to challenge their skilled hands and demand it be raised to 35%, nay 50%.
In any case, I eagerly await what I am sure will be the overwhelming approval this proposal so justly deserves.

2/10. Wasn't even remotely funny. It's annoying when you take the time out of your day to read a long ass satire post and it not even make you slightly smirk. I haven't felt this scammed since i bought Destiny.

Even if PvP was nerfed down to everyone running around with a plastic spork as the only available weapon, there would still be nerf the spork posts and complaints. The aim assist on the spork is too high, the poke perk needs a even longer cool down, the scoop range is too far. Damn blink sporkers are too OP.

We would all need a robot in our guns called freckles to do this.
