Did 4 char's on lvl 5 .. good rewards and good connection . Encountered lots of lag cheaters that started in the green and played in red . The only thing is the matchmaking itself , think i got dropped 20 to 30 times in matches that was a loss anyway . Pure waste of time as i Spawn 1 min before finish. Thats all solo encounter based. In a fireteam everything s ok . One last thing is that a gross of players dont know what to do in rift . One time i just sat down to see whats going to happen . Well not one time the spark was taken ! In both teams ! This match was won by kills only ! Hope u got something to think about bungie.

5 RepliesAfter match rewards were a little lackluster. I received quite a few boots for my characters, 1 chest, and 1 fusion rifle. I hit rank 5 early Saturday and continued to grind because I was hoping for a good scout rifle drop but never got a single one. I played a lot of matches too in hopes of getting one. Did anyone else have a hard time getting decent drops? I feel like the drop % for the scout was ridiculously low.

1 ReplyI just played against a team in Korea while I was solo. Please tell me how their connections match my 100mb down and 20 up connections? They were teleporting everywhere. Please for the love of god fix this game.

1 ReplyWhy not leave the vendor available a little while after the event? I hit rank 5 after winning last IB. Immediately went to tower to collect my package only to find it closed. Upset because the rank and reward was earned.

I played quite a few matches of IB even after hitting Rank 5 and the highest level item I got was like a 312 ghost, with everything else under 300. Most of the time I only got blues or motes of light! Loot drops in all playlists need to be seriously adjusted because nothing feels like a big accomplishment anymore (ie ONE 315 drop for a FLAWLESS ToO run almost every time)

Still running into latency issues, but it's a given. You're always going to run into someone from over the pond. Have to say, Rift is absolute garbage for IB. We didn't get steamrolled or anything, just wasn't fun AT ALL. I love variety, but stick with Clash and Control/Zone Control. Rewards.....whatever. Drops in this game are extremely disappointing all across the board. 280-300 light level drops on endgame stuff?! .....nonsense

More green bars BUT hit detection for both guns, melee and super are very inconsistent now. They don't just register late (lag) they simply do not register at all even though i can hear my fist/knife hitting their mark.

Keep messing things up like this, and we will all be more grateful toward 343 studios who actually cares about its constituents and puts the money toward DEDICATED Servers. Level 300 Players taking down 317 players in 2 shots, WTF. Ghosting all over the place from players that have -blam!-ing dialup or barely a 1mbs, these players shouldn't be allowed to play with us period. Stop being a bunch of Socialist morons and Make stuff work the way its supposed to work. And if you cant send me a check with all the Money I have wasted on this crap game.

I went into "Iron Banner" with my Titan 310 and after many hours of play all I got was - 314 Ghost 315 Gloves I bought the scout rifle, but I actually prefer my 310 Cocytus SR4. It beats it hands down. I wasn't expecting the rewards to be worth much, but considering the time it took me to reach rank 5 I did feel underwhelmed. All my gear was ranked to 310 before IB anyway. My main complaints about the whole "Iron Banner" event were the outrageous amount of red bar players cheating. I probably wasted more time reporting these twats than playing. It certainly wasn't fun. This is the overriding problem with Destiny's peer-to-peer system - it stinks. I paid good money to get a high quality 200MBps fibre-optic wired internet connection (in the UK), which is totally useless with Destiny's crap servers. Maybe if I used a can and some string I'd get better service!! Back to playing the awesome "Fallout 4" for me I think! :)

O.k I spent 3 hours last night grinding iron banner to get rank 5 3 matches in three hours I mean really is that a fix to matchmaking and then people always left if we didn't get the first detonation, this should be fixed with a penalty for leavening pvp, not just iron banner

1 ReplyBungie, I'm a year one player and Destiny fan with thousands of hours played. You can replace the CEO. You can improve communication. You can add content. But, in order to keep players coming back for PVP you have to drastically reduce the latency-(LAG). It's possible to accomplish. Just play Halo5(unfortunately it's a very stable platform with a bad game but it shows that it's possible to have a PVP game with a great connection). I would like to continue playing Destiny and will buy Destiny 2 if you will fix the LAG issues. LAG ruins the gaming experience. It's all anyone talks about during a game. 2 RepliesHowdy! I just wanted to pass along my IB thoughts. This was less fun than clash or control for me. Mostly because the matches can take a while and the drops for me so far, have been pretty lame. IB Clash in November gave me some great drops and kept me coming back to play, and I got more great drops. IB Control didn't give me much other than a couple of nice 3oC drops, but I did have a lot of fun. IB Rift has been tougher. Lots of lopsided matches and lots of being dropped into a game that is half done. Drops have seemed even tighter this go around. I am seeing lots of things drop for me at 260-280. If I max out, I'm 307 and would love to make some progress forward with gear, but I don't get any high light numbers or even legendary gear that I can use. And I don't want to buy weapons at 280 if I can't get gear to infuse the items up to a useful level. All of this has kept me from playing as much as I would have typically. I dig IB and look forward to it, but this turn was a bit of a let down for me. It would be nice if there were some adjustment made to loot table, that even if I'm not getting IB gear, that the light stats roll to something that I could use. I'd take some 295ish blues to put into some of my primaries to just bring them up a little more. Thanks for a game that I really do enjoy. I hope that we get to some more info on the growth and expansion of it soon.

6 RepliesOk, Here's my point of view. I read all the comments Good and Bad and Really Bad. I would have to lean on the Bad side here for many things. And I'm playing with a light of 312 normally and all 3 Guardians are rank 5 as of yesterday afternoon. 1. "Bad" - red barring, many players are red barring and using lag switches. I can't shoot what I can't see! And even when I do shoot them, they all of a sudden disappear and then kill me. 2. Really Bad - Rank 3 drop, really a 310 artifact. Since I have a 320 and I'm above 310, wouldn't make more sense to give a 315ish. 3. Really Bad - Drops in general, I'm top the leader board and get nothing, yet the bottom guy on my team gets a 310 plus, drop oh and his light is 290 area. Really!! 4. Really Bad - Opposite of above, I purposely played bad on my team and made sure I'm bottom of our's teams leaderboard and still I get nothing and neither does my teammates at the top, now a random in the middle gets a better drop than us. 5. How many games I have to play to get a good drop, I lost count of how games I played last night with my Rank 5 Titan. Oh it was at least 15 before I got a 319 ghost shell, done for the night. One small plus here, I finished top leader board overall with 8600 points. Here is your only positives Rank 5 rewards, 318 sidearm, 319 Sniper, and 318 gauntlets, but more than one really good reward should of been given. Game Mode, I actually liked Rift, once you get the concept, I love the kill whores who just let me go by with the spark.

This match was from just yesterday (Feb 1) here in Vic, AUS. Not sure what in the world was going on - severe lag with this one player in particular. Not sure whether if it was lag switching or not but it definitely didn't seem quite right. Even one of my teammates saw what was going on. Fireteam leader almost pulled us out because of bad lag but decided not to. As stated in my [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/189105695/0/0]previous comment[/url], the second deployment for IB matchmaking seemed to make things worse and not better.

Like others stated, I was allowed to go into the back where Lord Saladin is, clicked to receive reward and can't. I should at least get my level rewards even if it is reset. C'mon now..

Why is there a time limit on receiving a rank 5 package? Ib shutdown right when I was heading to the tower!!!
