Spoiler for those of you planning to read evolutions.
Basically Soren-66 is a malformed spartan 'hunchback' of sorts who was out and bout reach during the time of the battle assuming he survived his plane crash.
Anyone think they'd like fighting a spartan hunchback

So the final battle would go like this. *Reticle turns red* *Pulls trigger* *bad guy dies* Plus it'd be way ghey to be fighting some disillusioned Spartan. Sounds like a bad B-movie.
no think it will go like this *reticule turns red* *he jumps* *you then proceed to shout "get this thing off my back*
THAT THING'S RIDING HIM!

Yep, but Ephialtes played an interesting role in 300. I think it's interesting, but I have no idea because I haven't watched any of the episodes yet... [Edited on 12.11.2009 2:55 PM PST]

Deformed Spartan Hunchback? Does anyone besides me immedeitly think of the deformed spartan hunchback from the movie 300? coincedence?
-
That is a funny thought haha, I like the idea above. [Edited on 12.11.2009 2:38 PM PST]

I would think it would be the same as fightin an other player on multiplayer cause isnt He/She a spartan it wouldnt be any different.
-
And Master Chief is Lionides on steriods.
-
Reminds me of the rouge spartan from 300, any connections perhaps?

That was really funny. OMG its the huanchback of nortredame! Take it out Marines: "Arf, Arf" blows up human supercarier and proceeds to glass the planet of Reach without covenant help.
Posted by: Maul Marauder Oh, God. I'm cracking up just imagining it. Spartan: "What's that in the bushes?" *Soren comes crashing out of the forest* Soren: "Arf! Arf!" Spartan: "?!" Soren: "Argh! Argh!!! Arf! Arf!! Woof!" *Charges you*
sigh while obviously not like that. You'd recieve some intel first, it wouldn't be a last boss, just you ar trying to retrieve something and get intel that he may hav been spotted in the area or something.

Halo would truelly die if the hardest guy in the Halo series was a stupid ass runaway hunchback. Yah I read the books, loved the stories, and evolutions was great. But dude, its like omg kill the covenant: then out of nowhere a hunchback walks out of the woods with a 5 foot long beard and hits you on the head. "Oh its on -blam!-"

Soren is also very adapt with the wilderness and good at stealth.

I couldint, i would laugh if Bungie show's me a hunch back as the final boss of Reach

I would like it if he would play a pivotal role in another Halo game; an RPG in which you play as a group of secret Spartans. He is the Insurrectionist super-weapon, kept secret from the public best they can, and you need to neutralize him. Your former squad-mate. It could be one of those "choose your good/bad factor" games like Mass Effect, and your decisions could even lead to him joining you and going against the Insurrection.

Soren doesn't hold any real grudge against the other spartans, from what I could tell. If he was 16 when he tried to escape Reach, then it's been at least 25 years since then; I doubt he even knows there's a war on, if he's alive, and he probably dies when the planet is glassed. So no, I think it's relatively unlikely. He'd essentially just be a slow, melee-only hunter with more weak spots anyway.

That's really intresting? so your saying it was an elite similar to a spartan?

066 = 66, mmkay

It's Soren-066, lolfail.
