Bring back Year 1 gear!
[b]Make year 1 armor/gear infuseable for more cosmetic variety in the game!!!! [/b]
Why keep the Y1 gear in the dark by not making them infuseable? We all love this one piece of gear from Y1, but we don't wear it anymore, because it takes down our light level. Please make Year 1 gear/armor infusable, so there is more cosmetic variety in destiny!
The more gear, the better the game!

Besides year 1 IB, and VoG/CE armor, there are year 2 variants of every legendary piece of armor. Weapons are a different story. #TitanMasterRace

If heard this time and again. I think it should happen, mostly because all of our gaurdians look the blamming same! As to how it should happen? I think they should be light level 3 infusible cosmetic items with randomized year two perks, and updated/ balanced stats. Unfortunately Past Iron Banner/Trials of Osiris gear in my opinion should stay there and this process should apply to at least; maybe select, raid set armaments. They would still drop not the raids at their normal spots, or they could be traded for with ascendant/radiant materials from Eris Morn(CE) or Lakshmi-2 [Vanguard?] (VoG). This seems like too much to ask for, but it's just my two cents on the matter.

1 ReplyThey've been bringing year 1 weapons back. It's a trickle effect, and bogus that we have to buy and grind for them again, but they're still doing it with most of them.

I'm going to explain to you why year one weapons shouldn't be brought to year 2: You have fatebringer, some secondary, and ghorn, then lets say bungie says "ALL gear you currently own will be brought foward", do you feel excited to do the raid for loot? No, because you have the PERFECT PvE weapons, and nothing's going to replace them, so what's the incentive to play ANY of the activities? The answer is none, no one plays the new stuff, and bungie goes "we just wasted our time and now only 1 person is playing the stuff we made for them.".

Yeah year 1 stuff was great but yall are acting like the 5 year old in the store who wants a toy but mommy said no so you wine and complain. Year 1 stuff is done and over with so let's deal with it and be happy with what we have

Please, Bungie! I will go back to playing Destiny everyday if this is the case, as many others would. Right now, you're lucky if I play once a week. How are the numbers looking?
