What was the last game to become one of your favourites ever?
Let me give you an example: I can't think of many right now, but earlier this year, Uncharted 4 became probably my favourite linear action adventure (third-person) game ever. It's gorgeous, riveting, jaw-dropping and intense...
Better than every Tomb Raider (I've played II and 2013), Gears, Bayonetta (not by a lot)...
It joins the likes of Halo 3, BioShock, Half-Life, Skyrim, Burnout 3 (for variety), Crash 3, etc. as one of my favourite games ever. So what's the last game that broke into your favourites ever?
Why the hell did this get downvoted? I'm just asking a question.

Donkey Kong Country 2. Just beat it the other day with a friend. We had a ton of hilarious, booze fueled nights with it.

Witcher 3. Just finished it for the 2nd time, and beat the expansions for the first time. The game is an outstanding achievement in game design that is on a completely different level to other games.

They don't like the length, the title, how they imagined you talking, or perhaps they just ran into a jerk in the thread. It's not like you're gaining/losing anything by how up/downvoted, so caring is really pointless, imo. Destiny. Sadly every game that has come out the last two years hasn't been able to keep my interest. Fallout lasted all of three months. And won't be played again till all dlc is released. Although the starwars battlefront was a lot of fun and I still sometimes play it, there is no doubt it has less than half a game at the time of release. I'll wait for all dlc to be released on it also. Bloodborn and Evolve were great games but not something that keeps me playing and Interested For long.

My #1 favorite game of all time... Dust 514. It was buggy, over complicated, laggy and never made it out of real development. But it was my favorite game and I have devoted the most time thus far to it out of my entire gaming career. Now it's gone... I wouldn't be playing it now, but knowing its gone makes me miss it more.
