Upcoming changes to Silver Dust go live 11/8/2016

There has been some great feedback about the Silver Dust Economy. Here is a preview of what is coming.

We want to ensure that players who are completing Rise of Iron’s pinnacle challenges feel rewarded for their success. With this patch Trials, Wrath of the Machine, and Iron Lord Armor Ornaments will no longer require Silver Dust to apply. The Silver Dust requirement for applying Exotic Weapon Ornaments will remain, as the Silver Dust required for application is provided by the Radiant Treasure box.
Year 1 and Year 2 Iron Banner armor found in Dusty Iron Engrams and on activity completion of Iron Banner matches was incorrectly dismantling into Legendary Marks. With the patch, these items, when dismantled, will now yield 1 Silver Dust.
These changes are being made to promote a positive player experience as well as accommodate future changes and balances to the Eververse and Silver Dust economy which we will reveal in our winter release.[/quote]

2 RepliesI'm surprised that no one has mentioned the "b" word, ya know the one about the boy and his cott? Seriously with the millions of people that play bungie games and with all the fed up comments about drop rates of everything, space for this and that, returns on dismantling certain armor. How about we stop playing?. If we play we pay. Think about it bungie cannot survive without destiny. And there hasn't been a good halo game in years. So let's put a choke hold on their cash flow. No players means no revenue. No revenue means their investors raise eyebrows and ask questions. Other than that my major grip is matchmaking in pve and pvp. There is no reason why I or anyone else that is damn near or at the light cap should be matched with johndoe character level 15 light level 20.

3 RepliesJust an idea but you could also look at making it so when you dismantled a piece of gear with an ornament you get the invested ornaments back. For example I'd love to use my flawless ornaments for some of my trials gear but am afraid that of I get a better roll I'll be stuck without ornaments I've already invested into another piece of gear.

Also, if we could stop blues from going to the post master. I've seen a bunch of people ask for those things, but I'm not seeing it on the Community Wish List anywhere. Just saying.

5 RepliesWith everything they promised and faild to give we could work to get a class action suit going against them. But everyone would have to work as one for this. Can't have one person not want either shit fixed or a rufund. As they say no refunds with preorders. Thats bs. Law states here in canada everywhere has to offer a refund even if its online and there is fine print. Its the law here if we buy something. And it has to be minimum a week here to return anything. So they say bugie has no return policy? Ok lets sue and create one then. Personally i have spent more on controllers then paying for the game itself cuz of it. Trolls or just being booted for being inactive when i am going to piss or grabbing a drink in trials. Or keksis for example where all u hear is annoying -blam!-ing sounds to the point u dont want to even touch challenge of elders cause of the volume issue every fuking time. Like i dont need the volume jacked to hear shit. Its fuking gonna make me deaf and not want to play. I can go on forever with this but I wont about this broken ass game which I hop the patch they release STEALTH fixes a lot of shit. Yes there will be stealth with every patch that bungie wont say what they did. Why? It would take days to write it all out.

You guys lose your fan base after the challenge mode of the raid comes out each time. Maybe put some focus in a way to retain people after that point. Hint: it has nothing to do with silver or Eververse.

The new aspect of the lighthouse being a social space is terrible. You work to get there only to see people chilling there already with the chest open really takes the excitement out of it.

lol.. seems like something slippery coming our way with the winter release.. something that will require more silver dust.. I would bet that grinding silver dust to purchas stuff from the eververse is going to become real.. get grinding and saving guardians.

The droprate from the treasures is laughably low and i feel sorry for those who blew money on them and hardly got any. Wait, no, no i don't. Idiots decided to blow cash on looking pretty.
