I have a god roll pvp longbow. Shortgaze/ambush,snapshot, hidden hand. It's hard to use anything else. I'd say 1kys or longbow IMO. I play more pvp so those are my go to snipers.

For me at the moment it's got to be the EX MACHINA, great in PvE and suprisingly good in PvP plus I love the way omolon looks :)

I'd probably say LDR because it feels so crispy to me and I get the feels from it from vanilla destiny. But for a true year 3 then I'd say the winged word. It's base stats and predetermined rolls are pretty good for that archetype. Been using that archetype since the beginning of destiny so guess I'm a little bias lol. I like the her benevolence as best overall sniper though since it can reroll.

Hereafter has an amazing base aim assist of 75, inventory value of 50-60... you spawn with 12 bullets for double ammo perk, shortgaze zoom of 49 (while standing with impact build) , acceptable stability, snapshot, can rez snipe and is very fire-rate to impact efficient.

Depends on what activity you're using it in and what perks it has. Personally I have the single most amazing DPS machine in my 1K Stare with the miracle roll of triple tap, casket mag and spray and play. I generate 2 completely free rounds per magazine that gives me a 7 round clip and I have super fast reloads. As far as PvE goes it's perfect. For PvP however it's only average at best. Since PvP wants perks like hidden hand, quick draw and unflinching or snap shot.

That depends. For PVP, probably an LDR, Longbow, or Event Horizon. PVE, all those are also good, the raid sniper and Devil's Dawn are also great. Black Spindle is the best DPS sniper in the game.
