This happens after a post gets too many comments, say 20,000+ for example. This fresh one should be more visible. Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through.   • (pdf + some pics) Hi Bungie! My name is Dig and I am a founder of “Active Dynamics” PC clan. We formed a huge (more then 90 ppl) community and created a system of awards to motivate our guardians to play each day. Everything is almost fine, but we need your support to get better. First of all, I want to thank you Bungie for your amazing Destiny 2. I and my closest friends really love this game so much. In order to sort everything out and to describe the idea of what we need I would like to tell about my clan. How I said earlier We have an amazing clan. Our motto is “Endgame is formed by the gamers” or “Gamers form the endgame”. That is what we do. Our clan as a regular community has some rules. We accept guardians who: 1. Love Destiny 2 2. Play more than 7 hours per week In order the to track guardian activities We developed a program to control Vex - custom Discord bots using your API :) Actually it gave a birth to all our ideas and possibilities and didn’t stop there. As we grow we began to start tracking more than just per week activity. With all this data we were upset with current game interface and mechanics, as we could not find a way to effectively use it for our needs. We addressed to Discord tools. The main resource of our clan and gameplay is play time - if clan member score less then 7 hours a week the Vex will kick him. We are an Active community. No dead players allowed. We took as a basis the cooldown system from Destiny 2. Every tuesday we check how much play time has a clan member since precious cooldown and if it less then 7 hours we say him goodbye. We wanted to encourage the guardians for their activity somehow and create a ranking system. So every guardian could know how much time they were active last week. With a help of Discord we divided the guardians by groups and colors: Vanguards 30+ hours per week Fireteam 15 - 30 hours per week Сlan members 7 - 15 hours per week The more guardians were active last week the higher they get in a roster and the brighter is their name color. As time went Time passed and we needed to encourage the most of the most active guardians. And we added the Elite group and new purple color (with reference to Leviathan elite). We encouraged guardians who were most active in a certain discipline: 1. PvE activity 2. PvP activity 3. Raid activity 4. Total activity (PvE+PvP+Raid) It was quite good, but we thought that having on hands full stats on every guardian and using just active time is not enough. We introduced weekly efficiency rewards displaying in Discord in real time. We made a ladder with following categories: PVE Kills, PVP Kills, PVE Precision Kills, PVP Precision Kills, PVE Grenade Kills, PVP Grenade Kills, PVE Melee Kills, PVP Melee Kills, PVE Super Kills, PVP Super Kills, PVE Deaths, PVP Deaths, Raids, Heroic, Nightfalls, Nightfall Score. The guardian who takes first place in a category receives as a reward a star symbol in his name. And YES we have some guardians with 5-7 stars in his name. There is a seething struggle for the leading position rewards in the activity ladder every week, but the most brutal struggle goes on for the efficiency stars in nickname. In addition to above we also arrange different community events. And at this point - we are in trouble. We ran out of reward mechanics. Discord can’t fulfill our requirements anymore. Dear Bungie, support us and your community please. Please help us strengthen the community in our clan and highlight the best guardians. We need an incentive mechanics, some valuable thing, which can be used to reward the most courageous guardians in clan and they could be proud of it. Suggestion for quick solution • Be able to buy something in Eververse shop as a gift. In example promocode for 3 bright engrams. • Be able to pass the bright engrams or dust or exotic skins/emotions/ships to other guardians in clan. • Be able to give a lore friendly rank-prefix to a guardian in clan. • Be able to give unique clan emblems or shaders with clan logo (3 pcs per clan) for a 7 days time limit, which can be given or taken by the Clan Leader only. Make clan emblems limit of 1 emblem per 10 guardians in clan roster. Suggestion for motivation and give a weighty importance to clan as community • Add a clan armor or armor skin which can be obtained by a guarding after being a clan member for 1 week Suggestion for ingame Auto-Reward system for weekly clan ladder achievements which will be available for one week (like auras) • PvE and PvP skins to clan armor for weekly achievements • Aura/signs on different parts of armor: gauntlets, helmet, leg etc. for weekly achievements. • Aura/signs on the back for weekly achievements • Aura/signs/hologram on weapon for weekly achievements • Unique class specific cloaks/bonds/marks for weekly achievements • Unique symbols/start etc as a nickname prefix above the character. Suggestion to add our Discord reward system in game interface / roster • Ability to categorize the clan roster by guardian efficiency in real time • By guardian time spent in game • By guardian time spent in clan As per results of our researches, the guardians who live in active clans beat the activity records, but the guardians without clan - loses their light.     • And how much from that list was ruined or made redundant by bungie upon the release of this spin-off of a game you made? Coz you cant justify calling it a sequel when you removed/ruined everything we already loved and never asked you to remove

    • Continued from previous page. 15. Why is it that every time I go back to the tower it looks the exact same? We woke up the god damn traveler did we not? Shouldn't we be in a second golden age? Wouldn't it be cool if I looked out and every week with every update I saw a new building, or a blossoming, new city with vibrant new colors and additions? Also, What is with the farm? Wouldn't that have the option of becoming the second City? I literally never go there. It is like that place is dead to me. Couldn't you give us quests or activities or specific reasons to return to the farm? 16. Speaking of the tower, how long does it take to -blam!-ing fix that place? If it is currently under constructions then with each update, could we not see some indication that it is in fact rebiilding? 17. Why can't we get weather changes in the EDZ, Titan, IO, etc.. nothing has changed in any of those planets since we first discovered them. Same enemies, doing the same shit time after time. Perhaps some faction is trying to take over another. For example, with a new update, perhaps the Fallen have taken a significant part of the EDZ and are setting up a base of command. This would lead to new patrols, or new adventures or new quests specific to that week. Then the next week they have been beaten back by the Cabal or perhaps the hive? Seriously guys. You have probably hundreds of writers to your names. This shit is not that hard to think up. 18. Hubris. I am getting a vibe form bungie that you guys are defiant to our pleading requests. You are looking at us and basically saying, nope, there is nothing wrong with the game. Its good how it is, it only needs small adjustments and then it will be perfect. Dude, understand that you've made mistakes, that your original product was not so good, and please go back to some of the systems and ideas that made the first game so successful. The variation in armor and weapons, the variation in the super system. Seriously. You guys have all the code/ logarithms from the first game that can salvage this game. You just have to plug them into this version. That is it. You just have to bite the bullet and do it! So you made it super vanilla and it lacks depth. If you read half of the things I or the other thousands of players have suggested, or constructed a logarithm to analyze what it is players want most, you could get it done and satisfy the community. But before you do that, you have to get over your egos. Move past the mistakes you've made, put your greed in the rear mirror, and give us a product worth playing.

    • Please read this. I have been playing both Destiny and Destiny 2 for some time now, Destiny 2 in particular obviously, and I have some ideas that I think may make game play a little more fun and give the game staying power in the foreseeable future. Perhaps some of these ideas have already been proposed, and perhaps you guys are working on them already without our knowledge. But from my viewpoint, these are the things I would like to see done to our Destiny Universe: 1. Why can't we explore the infinite forest? When I first heard about it, I figured it would be a giant and endless landscape, much like the EDZ, that had infinite variations, possibilities, secrets, nooks, and crannies to explore. Instead it is a controlled gateway that can only be accessed through heroic or regular adventures. This does not leave players with much choice in activities. I want to be able to go into the infinite forest and get lost, like Osiris did. Is there any way that you can create enemies or legenedary enemies that you can find, only after you have gone DEEEP into the forest. Enemies that you and your fire team will go: what the hell is that, and then kill it for its infinite forest specific loot. Loot specific to that enemy much like you did with the strikes in D1. 2. On the topic of the infinite forest, wouldn't it be a good idea if you could somehow create public events within the forest itself? You guys have not reached the potential that that map can offer. It theroretically could be the largest map of the entire game is you were to design it right, and you could hide legendary armor, weapons, baddies in it that you truly had to grind and explore to find. 3. Why can't I get any of osiris's themed armor. When that dude popped out of the vex gateway the first thing that I noticed was HIS armor. Now you gave use 2 different legendary armor variations, one through Tess and one through Brother Vance at the light house, but none of it looks like Osiris's Egyptian themed stuff. In all honesty, that is the shit that I would grind for. How come his radiolarian sun breaker exotic gloves aren't an exotic that we as guardians can get? I understand the idea of the forge, and that some of those weapons were osiris's weapons as he traversed the infinite forest, but still, there is still so much armor and weapon ideas that can be made just from the theme of this expansion pack. 4. Please bring back bounties. Both for vanguard and crucible. You have the 3 tier achievement per planet that gives you tokens, or whatever, and they are task specific like bounties were, but again they do not give the player any choice. Those are the tasks we are stuck with whether we like it or not. Bounties let US choose the events and the tasks that we wanted to do. You could even make it a weekly part of the checklist of things to do along with flashpoint and call to arms. You could call it bounty hunter: complete 20 bounties in the crucible and the vanguard and boom: you get a reward. 5. Why doesn't each vendor have their own particular ship. Vanguard specific ships, crucible specific ships, Zavalas ship, the -blam!-ing Bird Lady's ship. It really feels like the only time I get a ship worth having is from Tess, and I am really really tired of that. 6. Please bring back strike specific legendary gear. Kill this specific enemy: here is your reward. Those were the best part about destiny because some of those drops were INSANE. Grasp of Malok? The helmet of that one douchebag that you had to kill in the pit of almost darkness? Please. Bring this back. It is what gave destiny that worthwhile grinding feeling because those were the items that separated the dedicated from the weekend warriors. 7. The red war was too short. This grandiose baddy strolls in and destroys the tower, we vanquish him and the traveler wakes up. Over. That is not enough. If it is truly a war, then it is solar system wide: what is the red legion doing on Mars, Venus, the Moon. How did they attack the Awoken on the reef? What about those cabal that fought on the dreddnaught? Did they reinforce them or leave them to die? Could they theoretically be taking over the dreadnaught's immense power to use against the traveler? Has a new taken threat come alive in the dreanaught to counteract the insurgency? What about on Earth, besides the EDZ... the cosmodrome? What has the red legion found there? What about the plague lands? Could they use siva in order to get an upper hand on the vanguard and the guardians? There are so many quests, and adventures and strikes that could be created just from this subject line alone!! What if the cabal went to the moon to study the hives magic in order to better their tech, and instead started a war with them? This all brings me to my next point.. 8. Bring back the old maps, the old strikes, the old planets. Again, for a guardian it is about choices. It is about choosing what tasks I want to accomplish in the amount of time I have to enjoy destiny. Right now it feels as if you have pigeonholed us as players and we can only choose to do a small number of things: pvp, no trials of osiris, 3 game modes. Flashpoint. Or raid... Bring back the archons forge and the epic slaughter in that arena AND the gear that came from grinding it. Bring back the court of oryx AND the gear and weapons that came from grinding it. Bring back the weekly quests that we had to do with Shiro in destiny 1 rise of iron. OR even give us weekly quests per planet with the current vendors you have at each WITH a unique and awesome piece of gear as the end result. Bring back the old social spaces. Bring back the reef and the activities that we did there. Bring back the iron banner mt. olympus social spaces and the activities we had to do there. Give us options. 9. Bring back legendary weapon/ armor drops within strikes. I am so tired of going back to Razul or whatever his name is and decoding them. Or buying a random engram from the vendors. 10. The master work system kind of blows. No offense, I see you guys trying to fix a problem, but the best system you had was in destiny 1. Again, it gave us as players a choice in the perks we wanted to use and it gave us a reason to grind in an arena of our choosing for that perfect piece of gear or weaponry that fit our play style just right. 11. Exotics. Please tell me the beneficial uses of lucky pants? Or stompees? Or the thagomizers? Borealis? The Tractor Cannon? Hard Light?? I'm sure I will get ripped on this a little bit, but seriously, if I were to count... the number of useful exotics is far outweighed by the number of dumb useless exotics that I literally just trash or store in my vault. The old exotics should have been part of the base game. Period. It is not as if those pieces of armor and weapons disappeared? Bring back the ones that truly make a difference in PVE and PVP and then you can alter the difficulty. If you give us back the Gally and Icebreaker, you give us the weapons to tackle tougher challenges in the PVE world. Also, please edit the current exotics, because, like I previously stated, some of them are just trash. 12. Speaking of PVE, I understand that public events are a big part of bringing players together and that the heroic public events were thought to be a tougher challenge forcing guardians to unite in the face of bigger challenges. This has not happened. Give us the above mentioned tweek in usable weaponry and gear, and then please throw the -blam!-ing kitchen sink at us. The greatest feeling in the world in Destiny 1 was accomplishing a mission that I had previously thought unbeatable. Failing time after time until finally, with help or solo, I was able to complete it. Flashpoint should be hard to get done. I can get it done now in 40 minutes or less with rarely a death to my name. Public events should be HARD. If that is what you are resting your PVE hats on, then -blam!-ing challenge us. Nothing would make me happier then actually getting into a fight that actually has me thinking, holy shit I might not get this done. So far that has not happened. 13. The raid. Haven't tried it. Frankly it looks stupid, and I am not entirely sure how it even plays a role in the story. My clan does challenge the raid and I have used some of the weapons, and I can tell you, unlike destiny 1, none of them seem worthy to grind for!!!! Again! Please change this. I have read multiple updates where you have told us, the players, that you were going to give us reasons and rewards for our efforts on the raid. Please think back to some of the greatest weapons in Destiny 1 that made players return to the raid, time and time again: hunger of crota, vision of confluence, vex mythoclast, fatebringer. THESE are the level of weapons that need to exist within the raid that can ONLY be achieved through completing it. Not through clan achievements. That is a cheat to those players that actually grind it and get it done. Also, the raid specific gear needs to be worth while in PVE and PVP to grind for!! So far the only weapon that I have seen consistently used in PVP is the raid rocket launcher. Nobody uses the raid gear, nobody uses any of the raid weapons. 14. If you give us back some of the better weapons, and increase the difficulty of PVE events and missions, or even give us back the worlds and strikes that we know, with added difficulty, this will lead to guardians dying a lot. So, please bring back radiance. Warlocks are too badass not to have it. On the topic of specials, please bring back a larger variety of options instead of the current special power trees or what ever the -blam!- they are called now. Again, you are pigeon holing us, and not giving us A CHOICE. I want to be able to tweak my powers and abilities like I was able to in the original game. This gave my character a unique feel and a sense of ownership. A sense of differentiation from the pack.

    • PVP -Faster grenade and super charge (You literally can sometime never use your super in trials...) -More modes (PVP Isn't bad, It just lacks variety in gameplay and modes) -Move power weapon spawns to the center of maps (Why should players spawn and get heavy?? Worst design decision ever) PVE -Hardcore modes (This could be heroic adverntures, Lost sectors, Story missions, anything... Destiny lacks that difficulty itch) -Meaningful and unique rewards (Idk why this isn't a thing yet... What's the difference between a crucible auto rifle and a raid auto rifle? Nothing.) -Improve Raid and Public Event Framerate -More synergy between subclass perks (Exotics should also have more synergy. They dont need to be OP armour or weapons, they just need to be useful. Random Annoying Things -Delete multipule shaders and mods at once

      Also, bigger ships like warframe or the normandy from mass effect. A place you can decorate, have friends visit via a hologram, have an armory for exotic gear, have a computer that can be used to message people, and have it as an option to have failsafe as the ship a.i. [u]Also a bathroom where you can change your characters appearance.[/u]

      Separate pvp and pve... ENTIRELY. Don't get me wrong, i like pvp, but the strict weapon balance and lack of armor, weapons, and soooo many other things are literally choking the life out of the pve game. Want to peg d2 as a collection game? Go take a look at fortnite or warframe. Games where you can actually see a large collection of weapons and such.

      • What I like to see in destiny 2. Clan rewards  need changing  to where the fire team only get the rewards but the clan gets xp boost. Gear and weapons  need to have different  rolls  as the same as destiny 1 . I like to see destiny 2 with a clan building where we can build to make us work as a team . Maybe build are one weapons  and gear with clan logo on . Strike gear and weapons  . Wants the bounty Hunter back . Wants  daily story  back . Timer on night fall option . Public events on the old tower . One weapon I like to see back tracking on rockets  . Better solar systems  map where you see your planet's . E.g.  warframe  planet  system  like that . More hidden quest in game . Like to see fail safe as a exo . New model with flesh on . Want to the stranger lady back  . Like to get mission  off Amanda holiday . Flight mission simulator  in the hanger. Theses our only idea binge I like to see .

      • I believe this game is really close to being what you wanted it to be. The biggest issue people are having is not with how the game plays but with the end game content due to static roles and lack of incentive. I believe both of those go hand in hand but the content you would "add" would not be drastic or some giant overhaul like some are suggesting. It may not be easy (I'm no developer) but definitely doable. And I know, there is nothing quite like getting told what to do by someone who has no idea how to do what you do 😏 Anyways, here are just some thoughts: * add a ranking system for competitive * have competitive or at least trials make your light power be taken into account, instead of it being a barrier for entry. This may be controversial as some would say that the difference from d1 was negligible either way but I believe even a little difference would be some recognition for grinding that ever elusive number. Otherwise, what's the point? * add daily challenges that matter. They don't have to award you with a luminous engrams power boost. They could be as hard as nightfall strikes but award you with exotics engrams instead or legendary shaders or emotes, hell, even glimmer; that you normally can't get from that specific activity. It's another farming component that wouldn't piss off casuals as they're not missing they're weekly leveling and give some of the more hardcore players just a smidge more incentive to get on daily. * set clear goals with the token system. I assume you already know this one but it's really crucial you get this right. Tokens are good for the game, just give it a little more depth and you'll be set. * have seasonal rotations for perks in weapons that affect styles of play and not its effectiveness. Something I would be really hopefully (but would be a sort of overhaul) is the mod system. This could have been a great farm incentive but due to balance reasons or for making the game not pay to win, the mods are underwhelming. I think this alone could have completely changed how people play this game as its importance would garner a lot more hours of grinding to make builds that feel impactful to gameplay.

      • You want to know what we want? We want Destiny 2 to be thrown in the garbage and Destiny 1 to have DLCs because it’s a superior game in every single way. It’s like you all sat at a table and made a list of all the fun and good things about Destiny 1 and that was the list of things not allowed in Destiny 2. For the life of me I cannot figure out how the studio could be so idiotic and make such drastic changes to what was a phenomenal game. Seriously did you want to kill your own game? Because you did This is a terrible game

        Watch this Old Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIp7vZuYzoA When Destiny was first being shown off we were promised a Large Shared World Shooter RPG. That was "Ancient Fantasy" + "Hard Science Fiction". That is what it was initially advertised as and what Year 3 D1 was shaping up to be. The problem is that Destiny 2 has taken the franchise into becoming a game that I simply did not want. We got a standard FPS Skill based shooter with PvP set as end-game. It is trying to use the Halo formula to satisfy the competitive shooters. That design choice does not work with [i]Loot[/i] based games. You're fighting against human players in the Crucible and you're fighting an army of drones in PvE. What makes PvE fun is being a powerful badass what makes the Crucible fun is the competition and proving your better against a real person with access to the same weapons abilities. They're not the same and should not be balanced as such. It is trying to be a jack of all trades but consequently making it a master of none. Making it a competitive PvP is the [u]opposite[/u] of what Destiny was supposed to be and shaping up to be by Year 3. This feels like a slap in the face to the people who stuck around and supported Destiny. Bungie should stop trying to make it Halo when that is a completely different formula. PvP does not work as a core aspect in Destiny. They took what could have been an amazing RPG and made it a simple shooter. Big middle finger to the fans who made the first game successful. [b]ALSO.[/b] Destiny is made by AAA developers, supported by AAA publishers, and is sold as a $60 game. They already have the money and support they need to make a complete product. The fact that it is not a complete game at launch, and is in reality an incomplete foundation that relies on content updates as well as paid DLCs to add things that should have been in the game in the first place, is unacceptable. The Dev team should be given more time to work on a quality product worth the $60 price tag before release.

        1. Power levels in IB 2. Replace IB tokens with IB Armour and drops end each match 3. Replace Raid token with Raid armour and weapon drops on chest open 4. Add “on death return to orbit” mechanic in place of timer in some NF 5. Rotate vendor stock every 2 months 6. Double the fixed roll gun pool or return to rngesus rolls 7. Add all D1 game modes to pvp 8. Add private matches 9. Announce development timeline for forge mode 10. Once grimoire item is discovered unlocks a grimoire page for that item that fleshes out grimoire in book form that can be read both in game and via app. 11. Commission a physical D1 grimoire avail for purchase via the Bungie Store. 12. Incorporate ALL DIM features into the Companion App. Thank you
