Because simply far too many so called 'professional youtubers' don't actually put much effort into their content and mostly it's top five lists with shitty music drowning out everything else. And all their videos start with a tacky over the top flash animation and them yelling "YO WAT IS UP YOUTUBE?! ITS [insert name here] And end with "IF WE COULD GET [x number] LIKES ON THIS IT WOULD BE INCREDIBLE" or "PLEASE HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON, IT REALLY HELPS ME OUT, SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE VIDEOS" There's very little actual discussion going on in most YouTube content, Patrick Casey, planet destiny, briar rabbit, tefty teft, more console, my name is byf and a few others are worth listening to. Most do it for gratification, the ones worth listening to do it because they have passion for the content they put out.
