Which nationality are each character of Noble Team? (Speculation)
Note: I know they are born on planets other than Earth. I'm mainly speaking each characters nationality based on accent. (Some of these are somewhat confirmed based on the armory part of this weekly update, which showed all Firefight voices, which included Noble Team and their face. Jorge, Kat and Jun have been seen and heard and pretty much sums up that these assumptions are right. However, what I mean is that these nationalities later went up to the other worlds and populated there. So the nationalities are basically the same on other planets, if this makes any sense)
Jorge: Scottish
Kat: Russian
Jun: Asian
Noble 6: Whatever your nationality is or unknown
Emile: (No voice has been heard or face seen)
Carter: American? (Probably not, considering there is no true American accent, at least to my knowledge)
Who agrees with this?

Did it ever occur to you that it's set over 500 years in the future, and maybe the rest of the world has already discovered ghillie suits? And maybe he's wearing a ghillie suit because he's a sniper, and therefore has to blend in with his environment so he is not an easy target himself? Nah, he's definitely Chinese, dude.

You're mostly right. Jorge however has an English accent. And Kat only sounds Russian in the VGA premiere. In the ViDoCs she has an American Accent and so does Carter.

Jorge = English Not Scottish! At least say British, his accent is too refined to be scottish, he has a slightly more [i]refined[/i] tinge to his voice - if thats the best way to put it. Listen to someone from Scotland and someone from the South of England if you want a better comparison. -K-

Americans do have an accent we just cant hear it since its our accent. I sure hope Emile isn't French or Canadian, not to seem rude but that would ruin his character for me :( [Edited on 07.17.2010 7:51 AM PDT]

It just annoys me when he lists the others as broad terms such as "Scottish" and even as far as "Asian", but when it comes to American there's "no true American accent". There's probably twice as many individual accents in Scotland than there is in the whole of America.

It was mentioned that Kat and Jun were born on the same planet that was colonized by the same ethnic group, hence their congruent accents'. Just like there are Asian Americans though, Jun could be for example, Japanese-Russian. Jorge is a Spanish name, yet he talks with an English Accent. He may be half Latin, half Anglo. Emile i believe is probably from one of those islands in the pacific ocean that was colonized by the french, thus the name and the acting behavior.

Carter seems American/Canadian. Both Jun and Kat are Eastern European (Russian, Hungarian, Ukrainian?). Jorge is either English, judging by his accent, or Spanish, judging by his name. We haven't heard Emile's voice, but by the way he acts you could probably assume he comes from some kind of tribe. Maybe South American/Southeastern Asian. Emile is a french name and the French had colonies in these parts of the world so maybe thats a clue. Noble Six adapts to your (the player's) nationality and ethnicity.
