Game freezes on matchmaking for Quickplay PVP
Entire game freezes when I get to 4 out of 8 guardians in matchmaking for crucible quickplay on xbone. At this rate I'll never get into crucible! I have open NAT and all connection is good. I've been trying for over an hour!!!

5 RepliesI have the exact same problem. Match 1/2 loaded fine (took forever to find people but worked) ever since completing that first match, I can't load into the crucible without freezing during the matchmaking process. Also XB1

Same issue here. (Xbox one). Game frequently freezes right before heading into crucible. Wired connection, very stable. No issues with anything else.

6 RepliesHi there, Are you still encountering this issue? Have you already attempted any troubleshooting steps? If you have not already, you may want to try clearing your console cache. Clearing the cache can help remove any bad data or corrupted files that have been stored in the console's temporary files that may be causing this issue. Edited by digibong: 9/9/2017 6:06:34 PMI had the exact same problem, and it seems to end if you can just get through those two "quickplay" matches. I've had no issues with competitive mode after it unlocked. I suggest restarting the game repeatedly and trying a good 5, even 10 times. If you can get through the 2 quickmatches once, I think you're good forever. It definitely seems to be a matchmaking issue. I've had no issues in co-operative. It also has nothing to do with my connection to the internet, as I have 150 Mbps down, and NAT type open with wired/IP passthrough.

mine is freezing too i play on xbone i didnt pay full price for just the story i love pvp and im not even good at it. this is crazy

Edited by KuV3dR: 9/8/2017 2:24:34 AMIt happened to all three people in my house. All my friends. This seems to be more than just me. Sometimes hard reset works but I haven't gotten it to work again in a while. It seems the only fix is quitting and restarting the game several times.

check your connections.. I have found a few people mentioning the same issues, all of them have poor isp, use wifi and that right there is what many have been saying for a long time.. plug the console in via network cable and get a decent isp and plan. If that isn't the issue.. couldn't tell you whats going on.
