When i start the game, select my character and log in it takes me to a black load screen. The symbol in the corner changes shape once and then it freezes. A window pops up saying the game has stopped working. Currently unable to play the game.
[The game ran perfectly fine during beta]
Edit:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6900
Ram: 8GB
EditEdit:
Seems like AMD Phenom CPUs are the problem. Hopefully we'll hear from Bungie soon. If not I am going to try to get a refund. I only bought this game because i was able to run the beta.

Same - Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 980 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.7GHz - Memory: 16384MB RAM - Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

Edited by Xero: 10/24/2017 6:34:18 PMI'm having the same issue with AMD Phenom II X4 955 :( BETA worked fine so far.

Same specs, same problem. Beta worked charming, that was the reason i pre-ordered that game. Now friends of mine, whom i brought to it, plays it well without me. It's kinda hurts, this evening was meant for some coop fun.

Got the same problem Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T GPU: GTX 1050 TI Ram: 8GB Never had an issue with my setup before and the beta ran just fine with 60 FPS...
-
Got the same problem. The loading screen after the first cutscene crashes every time
-
They just posted on twitter - "Players encountering crashes in Destiny 2 on PC should try to Scan and Repair through the http://Battle.net app Destiny 2 Options." Nevermind... useless
-
Same issue here. Phenom965
-
So I guess we just have to sit here and wait until they perhaps post a fix?
-
You'r processor is being blocked on purpose by an SSSE3 check, its not that you cant run it. With a hex edit , it can be fixed easily. But I don't know about bungie wanting that or why they implemented this as it is not needed.

The issue is they for got to add compatibility with the Phenom line of CPU's they will sorta need to push a patch sooner than later.

AMD Phenom II X4 B55. GTX 1050ti. Beta ran flawlessly, and now this shit.

Edited by SilentKev: 10/24/2017 6:30:44 PMJust bought it. Never had an issue in beta. AMD Phenom II X4 955 GTX 960

I'm playing on a GeFroce GTX 1070, Intel Core I5 6600k, can't play for more than 5 minutes. I have just above the recommended requirements, and no AMD parts. Don't understand how a game that is unplayable is allowed to be released. Like another person said, took off today to play, waste of time. Will look for refund if game not fixed soon.

Edited by Waryn: 10/24/2017 6:39:40 PMSame issue here as well. After fixing the sound bug (where cutscenes are sped up and sound distorted), I can select my character but then crash at the loading screen. Not provided a error code or anything, just crash to desktop. CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X6 1055T GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB RAM: 16GB GPU Driver Version: 388 Operating System: Win 7 Pro SP1

There is a known crash issue with AMD Crossfire. Do you have this enabled? If so, try disabling it. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/236455208
