This is a rant, and I hope that I'm not alone in this. This is gonna get repetitive, but I'm done. Bungie, you have managed to take my money and I can only promise that it will be the last time. This is an open letter to every dev and every partner in this franchise, including the hateful asshats at Activision. Since Destiny was announced I had managed to build an affinity to the story and the game itself. During D1 I managed to find a game which genuinely challenged my ability to be a gamer and a team player and a quick thinker. In a matter of a few months, you have managed to make a mockery of the trust of those who have gone through the game the same way that I have and have devoted time and money to the franchise. Every turn we take from within and from outside the game, we are presented with a new reason do want to separate ourselves from you and the environment which you have managed to destroy. I believe that Activision has been behind all this, but the fault at the end of the day falls on you Bungie. You let this happen; you let this all come crashing down with the same level of disdain for us players which Queen Elizabeth the First had for every person that ever wronged her. Its shameful and I hope that every one of you subservient degenerates feel good about it. There isn't a single player in D2 right now who hasn't had a single moment in the game without a doubt in the back of their head. It just doesn't exist anymore. It is painfully your doing that when the game launched to three months down the line, you and you alone lost your player-base by ~85% and continued to lose that base without any rebound. You have failed at the one thing you are being given the countless amount of money to do and you will fail at whatever comes next in your playbook. I, alongside many others, have lost all faith in what you can possibly manage to produce to be even the remote-bit good, let alone in favor of the playing community as a whole; it will only benefit yours and Activision's bottom line and, with that said, it will only hurt it in the future if all you plan to do is take advantage of us with these low-lying tactics such as paywalls, Eververse, and sneaky progression throttles. If you want to gain any level of respect back from us, learn to be honest or find a company partner who will, because frankly we have grown a level of hate toward you and sadly there is still a small amount of love still there.
