Among the great Super Bowl ads, one in particular stands out for being completely dreadful. The commercial consists of camera footage of a collection of babies, while a female narrator talks about how they will stand up to racism and sexism in the U.S. (specifically citing the pay gap). All the while a shit-tier cover of All Apologies by Nirvana is playing.
Not only does this ad imply that there is an unfair pay gap in the United States, it ruined All Apologies for me.
It’s not a T-mobile commercial, it’s a tide ad.
What do you guys feels about the commercial?

"You will demand" stopped reading there tbhqhwy

They have this but I heard that they wouldn't let a group of veterans make a commercial about standing for the flag. They were willing to pay for it too but they were denied.

It was pretty cringe-inducing.
Babies are ugly af
I'm switching services.

It’s a tide ad
-
That was shit. The Fanny devito M&M ad on the other hand is a masterpiece

4 RepliesI'm not really seeing the issue. Politically underline ads have been a thing at the Superbowl for years on both sides on the spectrum, ranging from progressive (inclusiveness ads by Coca-Cola) to conservative (anti-gun control by gun companies). This ad doesn't seem particularly bad to me.

Well I hope this baby lives a long life. Cuz I heard that lots of stupid kids ate Tide pods and some actually died.

2 RepliesI will say that this ad strikes me as being done by your typical centrist Democrat that gets in a fuss because of pay gaps or when Trump curses all the while being oblivious they're using these issues and a -blam!-ing Nirvana song to sell phones. These are the well off people that will think all the world's woes are fixed when a garbage candidate like Kirsten Gillibrand beats Donald Trump in 2020 and spend more energy fighting a Bernie Sanders like candidate than any Republican.

1 ReplyConservative: What should we do for our T-Moblie commercial, it has to stand out remember, 'cause it's the Super Bowl. Leftist: Let's talk about the wage gap, you know, that thing that totally exists! Conservative: Look man, it's the Super Bowl, let's keep the politics down. Plus this is a phone commercial. Leftist: Wait...This is a phone commercial?

1 ReplyI don't like babies. Didn't like the commercial

Gross. That was really gross. Surprisingly, the nirvana thing offended me more than the liberal propaganda throat cramming. I also like how the commercial is talking to the viewer like a baby....whats next? Gummi vitamins for adults?

7 RepliesEdited by Number1 Casual: 2/6/2018 2:23:09 AMFirst, it’s a Tide ad. Second, it is a message that America needs given how the repubes are trying to make racism & sexism hip. Third, more companies should follow suit including T-Mobile. Fourth, Dodge Ram...WTF???????
-
Actually that's a tide ad.

I don't care. I get free Netflix

10 RepliesEdited by Uncanny_Vale: 2/5/2018 7:26:36 AM
T-Mobile makes politically (leftist) charged Super Bowl ad. ...a female narrator talks about how they will stand up to racism and sexism in the U.S..
So only the left are opposed to racism and sexism? I thought the right were opposed to them too? Apparently not.
