By the numbers, these games all tend to survive more off the PVP than the PVE endgame. When D1 was still high on twitch all the channels with over 1k viewers were PVP channels. I know the Raiders don't like it but the PVP is just as important to the survival of the game. Also as to your previous comment about the companies roots; this is the company that basically invented the LAN party, Bungie's roots are firmly in PVP.
