I don't understand why Bungie would make the digital deluxe addition, the base game including the DLC, and just the base game go on a mega sale and not include just the expansion pack. I bought the base game a while ago so I have already supported Bungie but i don't get to be benefited by their sale because the expansion pack isn't included in the sale. If you are going to do an up to 50% sale on all the destiny 2 games than why don't you include the DLC pack?

Why? Because $$$. But save yourself some money and don't get the curse of Osiris... The PVE map is tiny, you can't use your sparrow, there's nothing to explore, huge lack of scannables and lore, one public event, the final boss in the storyline wasn't really a battle it was more like an interactive cutscene. If you're a PVP player there's only two (maybe three if I'm mistaken) maps added in and even if you choose the curse of Osiris option for crucible you end up with distant shores...alot. I will say the strikes are better than base D2 but that's just my opinion. Hope this helps

Why would they discount a dlc that's not even out yet?

Because it is the retailer not Bungie who has the say with sales. Bungie made the game. Activision publised the game. Retailers sell the game.

You can find the game with the season pass on second hand for 10/20euros in almost all europe. Everything is way more expensive here than anywhere in the US, but if you can’t find copies there are plenty stores on this side of the Atlantic desperately trying to get rid of the stock they keep carrying forward since 6months now.
