This is not a complaint but more of a welcome surprise.
As a New Light player there is so much content and pursuits as well as bounties I don’t even have time to log onto my secondary characters before the week resets. It is kind of crazy now. I was so used to playing 3 characters because of how little content there used to be.
-
As much as I’d like to play all three. I always just do one as doing all three is just to repetitive for my liking.
-
It’s ridiculously easy to level up now. Get your first character to 925 and now your other two are both 922 after you spend a few tokens. Even if you only focus on a single character it’ll only take around 3-4 weeks max to fully level up and your other two will be 947 straight away
-
I play 3 for LL and then leave 2 behind. Full time fn job now. Really catering to the people who play 5+ hours a day.
-
Just finished my powerful gear on the second character. Don’t know if I’ll start the campaign on my warlock
-
Time management and setting goals for myself is how I manage all 3.
-
1 ReplyJokes on you idiot i only play on one character anyway
-
i used to be motivated to push all 3. not that interested anymore. this "game" is not as fun or motivating as it once was.
-
for new players is hard yes , but for other players is easy leveling is more faster
-
I picked the third one just to ask.. whats a sun?
-
I spent the first week getting to like 930 on my Hunter main, and within 4 hours my Titan had surpassed my Hunters power level. Not bad huh? I play on my alts when I have time, but the Hunter is main, and Titan gets priority over my Warlock. Dont get me wrong, I love me some Nova Bomb, but everything else about the Warlock is boring to me, and I really don't like always having robes for armor.
-
1 ReplyFocus on one character pass the highest power weapons around to boost Light level on other characters craft white/green/blue gear from collections until the increase is one point of light or less per crafted set.
-
Like fully do all 3? I play all 3 fairly consistently but I don’t even do absolutely everything on any of them, just grab the easy powerfuls on each every week to keep them up to date. There’s just some powerfuls that I don’t find worth the effort
-
2 RepliesIt’s really not that serious. Lol
-
5 RepliesIt's possible. One day of full play completes most weekly bounties and some quests. I did vote for one character as i prefer my hunter over the warlock i have. Maybe once i play more (beyond one/two times a week), i'll consider playing the warlock and *shiver* a titan.
-
13 RepliesConsidering it took me 5 minutes to level my Titan from 759 to 939 earlier, with ease. 😉
-
Adulthood = A B*****
-
2 RepliesI rotate. Week 1 was Titan, now I'm on Hunter. Next week I'll use Warlock.

Edited by Ramirenzo: 10/11/2019 12:25:54 PMI stopped playing with 3 when forsaken dropped. Pretty soon I'll be playing with 0 given how stale shadowkeep is. Destiny to me used to be a really nice intermediary between a casual game with no real grind and an MMO with lots of grind. It used to sit in that sweetspot of having a satisfying grind but not feeling like I was sacrificing my life to it. Nowadays everything is grindy, everything is forcing me into pvp, hell I can't even blitz through the campaign anymore to keep up with the story because that's time gated. If Bungie is going to try to sell me on an MMOlite with an MMO grind, I'll just go play an actual MMO that isn't constantly trying to nickel and dime me for expansions, seasons and eververse cosmetics, while trying to bait me into game modes I hate.

In my case I only use the hunter. One of my kids shares the account and mains the warlock. The titan is for when we are bored.
-
I mainly focus one character, but I’ll probably start on the others in a few days
-
I work on 2 characters per week, rotating between what I have. Last time I actively worked on all 3 characters in the same week was the first couple weeks of Forsaken.
-
I stopped after Forsaken came out. I’ve ran three characters since TDB... mainly that was for three changes a week at stuff I wanted and to help lvl up quickly for raids. After forsaken I realized there wasn’t anything I wanted that bad that I needed to grind it out three times every week. And I don’t raid much anymore, most of my friends stopped playing Destiny long ago and there is nothing in the raids worth the lfg bs to me. Now I get one character to top light then screw around with the other ones after if I get bored.
-
I don't have time. I used to in D1 and y1 of D2. Now it's just grind, grind, grind and if I am lucky can transfer weapons over, hit max light on the other two but never actually get to do or enjoy any activities. Now it's going to be a lot worse with this new armor update.
-
I'm just focusing on my titan, but it looks like i can pull gear close to my titan's power level for my warlock and hunter if i do it from my titan. That way i can easily just get all 3 close to max too
-
I used to do all 3. At this point i just transfer and infuse
-
Kinda busy with my 927 Titan. The Hunter and Warlock are power level 900.
