Putting this here because everyone thinks everything in this world has to be about some random pissy person controlling every -blam!-ing living creature in their immediate vicinity
If you skip through the strike, you ruin other peoples' gameplay experience due to you're own greed and impatience
I want a way to penalize people who skip through strike enemies. I don't play for loot, I play to kill hundreds of evil enemies
and get shit done
I sat at the end of a strike and made the last asshole i found wait because he skipped half the strike and force pulled us forward
I WILL give a bad time to any guardian who does this
You can't justify being greedy and impatient. I would be nicer about throwing these terms out there, but you can't sugar coat terms like these.
You deserve a penalty if you get greedy and impatient
statement: overly productive guardians are exempt from this. These are people whom slay everything in their path like a pissed god and leave no survivors. You can't complain about someone killing things too fast, but you can very much so complain about someone just trashing around a hundred kills because they feel like being lazy and don't wanna do the work
There is no god damned WAY. there is only your penalty if you get greedy and impatient and skip through the strike. It is NOT YOUR STRIKE, IT IS OUR STRIKE. You are EXACTLY the same as the people who bypass afk kick and deserve the EXACT same penalty as the people who do that

Noting that if I ever match with you I'm going to worldline skate through the strike.
-
The amount of hypocrisy in this post is laughable.
-
4 RepliesThe way I see it, they have just as much right to punish you for taking too long. It’s a different way to play. The better solution would be optional matchmaking, allowing you to solo or two man strikes.
-
3 RepliesWah wah wah
-
-
Negative. I'll continue to speed through strikes and burn the boss without you.
-
Malding and petty. Would you be making another thread soon complaining about having team mates that start farming Lost Sectors instead of doing the Strike with you because they want kills too?
-
Edited by WoofinAintEazy: 12/21/2019 6:32:28 PMWhat was the point of your edit?? Do you not see the replies?!? Lol The fact you react this way to how people play a video game is laughable.
-
Mad cuz bad
-
2 RepliesIf you want to play a certain way you should form a team. Many strikes were designed to be speed run. This has always been a thing in Destiny and when D2 launched it was how the NF's were run. Maybe you need to take a break and play some other games for a while?
-
1 ReplyI’ll kill things but I’ll also ignore a random psion that gets left behind or a taken thrall that keeps teleporting.
-
6 RepliesThis is so dumb strikes are already so monotonous why on earth are you surprised others don’t get their thrills from creeping through a strike we’ve already done how many times.
-
7 RepliesDdue chill out some people don't feel like taking 20 min because u want to kill things for fun, go into patrol, or launch the nightfall without matchmaking and kill random stuff if ur doing a quest jeez
-
4 RepliesFind a group to do this im not going to sit around and wait for your old ass to kill shit
-
9 RepliesEdited by Fate: 12/21/2019 3:35:01 PMMost people speed through because fighting all the enemies is a waste of time The faster you go through the sooner you can do another activity Because the only enemy that truly matters. Is the boss Fighting common enemies is like fighting children bungie will never penalize speed runners As it doesn’t break any rules Don’t like it well play with friends or like minded people that’s why lfg is a thing
-
4 RepliesOh stop. The point of a strike is to get to the end and kill the boss. If you want to farm enemies, go in patrol, or start a nightfall solo. Only person who seems to be having a bad time with a speed runner is you lol.
-
1 ReplyThey aren't "skipping" half the strike. They are simply playing the strike. Dont like it? Enter as a fireteam.
-
24 RepliesForm a team or deal with it. Trying to dictate how others play simply won't work. Also, your idea will NEVER be implemented, so there's that.
-
1 ReplyStrikes are boring and skipping enemies reduces the amount of agony I haven't liked a strike since destiny1
-
10 RepliesThen get a team who wants to do it your way, or simply stop playing
-
Lol good luck with that
-
2 RepliesAnyone can solo a strike so theres not much you can do. People have done these strikes hundreds of times and speed running them is the only way to avoid getting burnt out from doing them so many times.
-
eh? you can kill more mobs and this is a problem O_O
-
3 RepliesIf you want to do bounties. Go into the nightfall. Ignore the objective and find a lostsector. Take all the time you need and is 100% solo.
-
9 RepliesActually you’re the problem here. Reason? Because not only are you not helping anyone in a strike and most people DONT wipe on purpose to pull others through, they mostly die accidentally and thus pull you through but also your comments on other people’s replies just shows that you are unwilling to listen and generally seem like an unpleasant fellow. You want kills? Go do a lost sector, or you know, a nightfall which doesn’t have matchmaking and Thus no speed runners. Or set your console time back a day, that will make sure you go in solo in any strike. Saying you want punishment for someone playing the game in a perfectly valid way just because you don’t like it is a backwards strategy. By your own standards I could say “please ban people from strikes if they take overly long and do hardly anything to boss”.
