Jotunn: cool in concept, the most broken pvp weapon in reality.
An energy slot weapon that homes AND ONE SHOTS? GENIUS! HOW BALANCED!

Unless you have no thumbs it's incredibly easy to avoid. Strafe left or right, if playing as a Hunter simply dodge. Or just keep in hardscoping that lane. Your choice.

There a lot of posts popping about the Jotunn , the gun has been around forever! It does the job it is suppose to! It’s easy to counter in pvp , you can hear for one which gives you plenty of time to find cover or jump out the way . Tracking can be inconsistent. It’s fun to use !

I use Jotunn in PvE all the time... works great ! there's a thought, stop whining about nerfing weapons in PvP and play PvE like everyone else

You must be new. It was nerfed already(tracking) . And also its super easy to dodge because it's slow.

Not that hard to dodge unless your not paying attention. If your just straight lining someone with a shotty and die to it, then you deserve that death lol

It's annoying to die to, but it's also extremely easy to play against once you know it's coming and how to play against it. If you play to cover and watch the barrel glow and listen for the audio cue, there's literally nothing the user can do Jotunn is extremely good at killing players in lower skilled lobbies(not an insult) because they either aren't great with their movement, don't use cover effectively, or they just try holding forward all the time

It's annoying as hell to die to and honestly I thought it was broken AF also until I got one myself and realized it's really not very good, I like using it in pve though.

1 ReplyIt’s 100% cheese, don’t be bothered by the sweats who come here to tell you to just move because they’re terrified they’ll lose their crutch. People on this forum will literally come up with some BS for anything. I made a thread on how 2v3 on comp shouldn’t happen and I had people with negative KDRs telling me how I should use it to my advantage and just win lol.

42 RepliesYou have to make a pretty stupid mistake to die to a Jotunn. The gun charges slow, reloads slow and has a unique firing noise. Just dance in and out of cover to bait the opponent into firing.

1 ReplyDestiny tracker says it is in less than 1% of loadouts and is responsible for 1.4% of crucible kills... I am of the opinion that something needs to be flat out broke before calling out nerf.
