Updated 7 PM - [BUNGIE] Known Issue: Missing Currencies and Materials after Update 2.7.1
Hello all,
We are actively investigating an issue where players may have lost some of their Glimmer, Bright Dust, Infusion Materials, and/or other types of game currencies. As part of the investigation, we are bringing Destiny 2 offline to prevent further loss of materials.
We will provide updates here and on [url=https://twitter.com/BungieHelp]@BungieHelp[/url] as we determine the cause of this issue.
[u][b]11 AM Update[/b]: [/u]
We believe we have identified the cause of this issue and are working on a fix internally. Destiny 2 will continue to be offline until we have a better understanding of the timeline for this fix. We will provide another update by 12 PM Pacific.
[u][b]12 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We are testing a fix for this issue internally, including investigating resolutions that would restore missing currencies and materials to players. Destiny 2 will continue to be offline while we test this fix. We will provide another update by 1 PM Pacific.
[u][b]1 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We are continuing to perform tests of possible solutions to restore missing currencies and materials to players. Destiny 2 will remain offline until the issue can be resolved. We will provide another update by 2 PM Pacific.
[u][b]2 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We have validated a fix for this issue and will be rolling back all player accounts to how they were before Update 2.7.1 went live. Destiny 2 will remain offline for several more hours as we deploy this fix. Another update will be provided by 3 PM Pacific.
[u][b]3 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We’re continuing work to fix the issue that caused loss of currencies and materials. All player accounts will be rolled back to the state they were in at around 8:30 AM Pacific.
- Players may have to redo any progress or quests they completed between 8:30 - 10 AM PST.
- Purchases made between 8:30 - 10 AM PST will need to be redone. Silver spent during that time will be restored.
- Destiny 2 Silver purchases from the platform store will be added back to player accounts.
- "The Pidgeon and the Phoenix" Lore being removed is a separate issue and will be resolved in a future update
Another update will be provided around 4 PM Pacific.

We’re continuing to work on player account rollbacks and estimate that Destiny 2 will be brought back online at 7 PM Pacific.

Rollback for player accounts is complete and Destiny 2 servers are back online. Players may experience login issues as services return to normal.

3 RepliesAnother let down Bungie...bunch of ppl got stuff after reset and now you roll em back,honestly since drops in this game is highly rng based,is hard to get some stuff...my friend finally got Pallas Galliot from Shattered throne after 53runs and now you took it back so now he needs to pray for one again,i lost pinnacle gear that was supposed to upgrade me and instead got some sht i already have,so fk you Bungie honestly next time don't release anything until you check everything,would rather wait few hours for quality patch than waste my time play for nothing,just give stuff back i honestly don't care for 250k glimmer or 10 upgrade mats.....

21 RepliesOk, it's 10 PM PST, lets go already. Flip the damn switch, you certainly had no problems rolling this dog turd of an update out. How about this? Next time you roll out a patch that doesn't affect current inventory: LEAVE THE INVENTORY TABLE OUT OF THE EQUATION!

2 RepliesSo I completed my Iron Banner: Season 9 Bounty before the update came out, put in around 450 tokens and now after you "fixed" things *cough* did not just my Bounty reset, but I also lost all my IB armour that I grinded for for days and have to wait again a couple of weeks until IB comes back?! What's worse for players? Losing glimmer that people get massively from all activities? Or losing all your IB armour you invested days in? Ridiculous that you would "fix" the Glimmer issue, but accepting that other people now have it worse (as I could read in the comments as well)!!

1 Replynice roll back...i went on a gos before reset and roll back, and now i missing raid gear on my titan... :( rollback took my helmet and i got another leg piece and even collection wont show the helmet now :( totally disappointed :(

8 RepliesOk you guys spent 10 hours working on fixing this issue and Im still missing new gear I just got and quests I have completed reappeared in my inventory. If you arent actually going to fix the problem then at least let us play.

Nice. The issue is fixed. Thanks, Bungie. Most people who play the game understand that issues like this happen but of course, there are always a few vocal idiots who love to talk badly about something they have no knowledge of.

How about an update since you're more than 15 mins late. When the people who pay my paycheck see me 15 mins late with my work, they expect an explanation. I dont hold you to that standard, you know, the one I hold McDonalds employees with less than a high school diploma to, but I hope you have some form of excuse. Even if it's just that you spilled mountain dew on the keyboard, or your pyjamas were smelly so you had to go home and shower and change...just say something to let us know that you expect SOMETHING of yourself other than failure. -

This is crazy. I lost a bunch of my Iron banner tokens, one enhancement core, couple hundred polarized fractaline & couple hundred for planet materials. Not to mention I had a bunch of legendary gear in my postmaster for all three of my characters & I barely have a quarter of what was there. To top it all off, I lost my Pinnacle Gear that I had on my characters already after popping all my iron banner bounties & the bounties are back to be claimed again. Bungie fix this please.

I lost 4 upgrade modules and a small amount of glimmer and rat king. I don't really mind losing the glimmer or upgrade modules but wheres rat king gone to? They still haven't appeared in my inventory.
