My two cents: anyone who complains about this needs to get a grip. Oh, poor baby can’t play the game today? Big deal, I’m sure we all have something else we can do until it’s ready. Let it go, children.

Edited by Týr-Skadi: 1/29/2020 2:22:02 AMI complain AND do something else at the same time. I just learned from Youtube that the earth is not flat, played Starcraft a bit, but forgot how to win so i stopped, looked if there was any money on my bankaccount or not (nope, there wasn't, Bungie took everything) and i smoked half a package of tabaco, drank 6 cans of Red Bull and 1 can of Monster Energy. I still have to eat, by the way. And now i think i go watch Netflix. Or take a pee. Or maybe i hold my pee till it hurts and see how long i can do that. Or i go spam Facebook with dumb reactions. Whatever. But i am doing other stuff.

Did I say you weren’t? You people seem to think I’m speaking for you. Complain all you want, for this minor inconvenience. But hey, I’m watching Hulu while I wait, I have a kitchen to clean, too. They are fixing their mistake. That’s admirable, period.
-
It's also admirable that people complain about complaining people. Really. Respect bro.
-
My point is that there is literally nothing to complain about. Moreover, their reasoning is absurd. It’s an opinion. That’s mine, disagreeing with theirs. I’m allowed.
-
you are right. And I aint complaining today. There's nothing to complain about.

My two cents: suck it teachers pet. Its people like you who dismiss negligience and hold companies to no standards causing complacency. It would be one thing if this was a one off but they have botched some many patches at this point its unreal. Ive never seen a company have to take their game down once a week for 8-12 hours after just about every minor patch...

Shut up dude and don't talk shit about stuff u don't understand You probably can't program a simple calculator A game like Destiny is a programming nightmare (I'm actually a developer) so it's very likely to get errors without actually doing anything wrong Happens to me every day

Dude, I have a masters in IT and have been working in the field for almost 20 years. Learn to write or hit up Grammarly at least, my god. Anyway, the difference is you probably dont roll out code without throwing it in a test or PAT environment, and if you do, I can't imagine whatever you're working on being important enough to tank the companies services to their customers completely for 12 or more hours.

Oh no Bungie, youre doing great. Right? I mean they only managed to develop a patch that deletes peoples stuff where none of the patch notes state that inventory was targeted. We should all take a moment to recognize this little gem. Then because of said update causing this issue we dont get to play on another refresh - at all. It always seems to take them until some late hour where you cant play the game that entire day - which i believe the concept of availability comes into play when you pay for a game and service that supposedly maintains a level of quality and is not being met here.
-
I don’t recall claiming they’re doing great, like, ever. I believe you need to reread my post and chill. I paid all the same as you. I’m not offended that in order to have a great experience, they’ve decided to shut it down to give me back all I’ve earned. I mean, they could have just told us to get lost and deal with it. I don’t think they’re perfect, of course they make mistakes, multiple and massive. But immediately correcting course is admirable, and I think I’ll live without my fix for a few extra hours. In the end, I’ll repeat myself: IT IS JUST A GAME.
-
Teachers pet? Are you mental? You have something else you can do. You can’t tell me you don’t. It’s just a game. I don’t think Bungie is infallible; they hardly are perfect. But this is not, nor could it ever be, something to get angry about. IT IS JUST A GAME.
