This is now the third (I think) server update in the last 2 months that has taken more than about 6 hours to rectify, and the previous two times were just kind of brushed under the rug. I really feel for the people who lost exotics and god rolls. Personally, I've farmed the Reckoning quite a bit trying to get the Gnawing Hunger auto rifle to drop, and this morning it finally did. This is nothing compared to those that lost rarer/unfarmable items. I feel like some kind of a "peace offering" from Bungie to their devoted supporters would go a long way to calm people down, but seeing as the previous two outages didn't result that way, I don't expect them to do so this time either. Which is sad, because those kinds of gestures are the exact things that endear companies to customers (think Chik-Fil-A).
Anyway, I'm disappointed and I feel for a lot of people on here. Keep up the hard work Bungie, and a gift of some kind would be appreciated.

Maybe Bungle should follow DE's example. When DE servers crashed during a free Ash Prime giveaway Everyone who had signed into warframe that week received the Ash Prime giveaway as an apology.I Glimmer and Materials are easily replaced (go to Spider) although this does take time.I Other deleted items are irreplacable, for example Lore from The Pigeon and The Phoenix lore book. Is irreplaceable as event is over and been removed. Easily solved by giving everyone who signed in on reset day or final week of event All the The Pigeon and The Phoenix lore book entries. Simples. & is good customer relations

The previous major downtime was due to a new platform integration with the servers. Google Stadia going live was the interpreted culprit causing major issues due to foreign datacenter connections... A pass for Bungie maybe Exotic gifts are nice, but gifting the entire population something they didnt earn, and rewarding the people (if you can call them that) who complain in the most vulgar fashion, only promotes more obscene behavior. rewarding a quest reward completing insults those that worked hard. when something is broken like the Prometheus lens, they put it in xurs inventory for everyone to have something broken while they go on holiday. "I dunno give everyone 500 planet materials and 100,000 glimmer" no... it took me way longer than the downtime experienced to obtain that stuff... and every other downtime it will be demanded like guardians on strike not going to happen ever. if you lost something earned and can prove then bungie is maybe 50% good at helping get it back. my 2nd and 5th trials of osiris cards I went flawless on game 9 with a win counted as a loss.... thats effed up.. i sent in record, report, Dtracker data... never got my lighthouse credit... and ive played thousands of hours since

I've farmed so much for the perfect full auto outlast and it keeps giving me everything but that. Same with iron banner, cannot get the perfect full auto claws of the wolf to drop. When I recently cleared some of my inventory to make space I had about 10 gnawing hungers just sitting there, I do use one of them though - seems like it has unlimited ammo per mag.

Thats funny. I always get full auto outlasts, but I have yet to ever get a single gnawing hunger. Or the sword.

Had about 5 or 6 outlasts drop yesterday, 2 curated, 2 with feeding frenzy (first for me for this gun), none with full auto. Will continue to try this week.
