Its been 2 damn years. Trials, crucible, faction rally, Iron banner - all of them. Whats the point of gatekeeping arguably the best looking armor in the game? “YoU hAd tO bE tHeRe” is not a valid excuse - dont use that here. Why? Remember that “exclusive” sub-zero coldheart ornament you’d get if you pre ordered Destiny? Last seasons engrams contained said ornament, so that completely throws that excuse out the window. “B-but its a reward for those who stuck through the crap of S1/S2!”. Crap excuse again. Nowhere did they state such a thing, and they only announced exclusivity after they announced season pass stuff. This makes the previous ornaments up for grabs possibly. Bring them back through activities or eververse. The benefit with eververse is that people who had them prior will essentially get them for free while other people have to pay for it. Its a win win. Its been 2 years of “exclusivity”. Bring them back. Edit: Another good point is that those who played trials on PC got screwed over due to community size and the fact is was overrun with aimbotters.
