Chain Reaction Bounty
The bounty reads:
“As a Nightstalker using Way of the Pathfinder, defeat groups of at least 5 tethered enemies.”
Now I could easily be wrong, but in my experience you can only tether 4 enemies per tether when using way of the pathfinder, and it doesn’t seem to carry between multiple tethers. For example, I can’t tether three enemies and kill them, then, in the same super, tether two more enemies and have it count as five.
Anybody know a fix?

As of 5/7/20, Nothing listed above is working. Tried Escalation Protocols, tried Last Wish (4th Wish). Tethered MANY.....one had 8 tethered. Still no progress when killing those 8 while tethered. Tried killing with the shot, tried killing with weapons. Nothing worked.

Unfortunately for me, none of these suggestions worked. I got 1 out of 2 done while doing alters of sorrow but I don't even know how I did it. The only thing I haven't tried was the suro chi one but I don't really like doing raids

I was at this for hours. I finally did it at shuro chi and killed myself first, was revived, and then hit 6+ with the tether and it finally worked. Hope it helps

By far easyest is Moon / Sorrow's Harbor, just follow the right side to the bridge to Lunar Battlegrounds big portal, kill the first wave and gather the second wave in the middle, remember to wear Orpheus Rig to max your shots coz the 'massive damage' ain't so massive ;) Got it done in two runs :)

1 ReplyGo to Shuro Chi and let the Thrall swarm you then spam your tether and wipe. Took 2 runs to get the bounty done for me

I got it, this is what I did.. 1: Go to mars 2: Get your super ready with void pathfinder 3: Had Orpheus also but don't believe it's necessary 4: Kill myself (could be optional) 5: Started escalation near the landing pad and storage silos 6: Be alone (remember when you needed help with escalation protocols and nobody was ever around, when now they all will be there) 7: Get the prosthetic leg near Ana Bray. 8: Start the EP and gather all the Thralls, they should stop spawning when you have them all 9: Shoot 1 tether and wait till they are trapped, and this is where I believed we failed, use the second tether shot to kill them, wait again, and repeat. 10: After shooting those 25 Thralls, by bungie standards of awesome bounty descriptions, you should get your 5 kills 11: About the prosthetic leg, did you actually looked? It's okay, just wanted to see if you'd actually do it ;) Signed, Rocket.

yeah its a pain , 1 and a half hour and still no process ... i been to EP on mars , to the last wish with those thrall etc.. still nothing
