The hulking monster of a wolf landed in front of a pair of cowering young children. "Awoooooo!" It howled, baring it's fangs. "Time to eat you up, little munchkins!" The kids screamed, and the wolf prepared to lunge towards them, but it stopped, blinded by a shining light from above. Both the wolf, and the children looked up to see a glowing figure standing on top of a mountain. She held her sword towards the sky, and jumped down inbetween the wolf and its targets, staring at the beast with her lone amber eye. "It's Annie of the Stars!" The kids said happily. "Annie of the Stars, huh? Well I ain't scared of no green haired brat!" The wolf lunged, and Annie slipped out of the way, bonking it on the head with her sword. It stumbled back and forth, dizzily, as a couple of stars circled above it. Annie dove in for another strike, hitting it in the stomach, and sending it flying off into the air. "Awoooooooo!" The wolf yelled as it flew into the sky. "Looks like the Big Bad Wolf is blasting off again!" "Yay, Annie!" Umbrella yelled, sitting in front of the TV. Princess Parasoul looked down at her little sister, and smiled. It had been a long time since they had hung out like this. "That sure was exciting." Parasoul said, looking back at the TV as the credits began to roll. "I wasn't sure if they were going to make it out of that one." "But Annie always saves the day, because she's the best! Just like you!" Parasoul chuckled. "Thanks, Umbrella." "Princess." A man said walking up behind her. "It's about time for the meeting to start." "Right." Parasoul stood up, and stretched. "I've got to go, Umbrella, okay?" "Nooooooo!" Umbrella whined. "You've got to watch the next episode! The Big Bad Wolf comes back, and-" Parasoul put her hand on the man's shoulder. "Adam can watch it with you." "I can?" The soldier asked. "Yes, you can." She started walking out of the room. "Well, I guess that's that.." Adam said, sitting on the couch next to Umbrella. "So, who's this Big Bad Wolf character you were talking about?" "It's not fair!" Umbrella said, folding her arms. "It's like she's always busy! We never get to play anymore.." "Well, I know she still calls herself a princess, but you have to realize that ever since your mom.. Well, Parasoul is in charge of the country now. And that takes a lot of work. You know?" Umbrella didn't respond, instead sitting there with her arms crossed, and a pouty face. "She'll always save the day!" The TV said, as the next episode began to start. "Because she's Annie! She'll make the rainclouds go away! Because she's Annie! Annie of the Stars!" "Hey, I've got an idea!" Adam said. "I know just what'll cheer you up!" "More ice cream?" Umbrella asked, annoyed. "What would you say to going to meet Annie of the Stars in person?" Umbrella looked up at Adam, and her eyes instantly lit up. "What!? You mean it!?" "Of course I do! I've got an old buddy down in New Meridian. He could probably get us a meeting! And besides, you're the princess of the Canopy Kingdom! I'm sure she'd be just as psyched to meet you, as you are to meet her!" "Yes! Yes I want to meet Annie!" "Okay, okay, let me call my friend, and I'll see how soon we can get a meeting, okay?" Adam stood up from the couch, and began dialing something into his phone. "Hey, Stanley? It's me, Adam.." - - - - - [i]"No! Annie, where are you going!?" "Umbrella, we have to leave, now!"[/i] [b]THE DAYS OF FUTURE CATS[/b] [spoiler]Alright, so here's the deal, in my upcoming RP, The Days of Future Cats, I'm going to be using a pretty particular fighting system (you can find my combat test under the DaysofFutureCats tag at the bottom of this post). For this fighting system to work, we're going to need a proper character sheet for everyone, but due to the nature of the fighting system, your existing character sheets probably won't work. So, that's where this post comes in! This will be the first of two signups, so if you don't want to sign up now, you can sign up on the second one, but you HAVE to sign up at some point of you want to participate. In any case, just post here and we'll get your character sheet set up. P.s. Don't worry about being too overpowered or underpowered. No matter what your character's power level is actually at, your damage values and HP total will be set to a certain number for balance. But, we'll get into the specifics of that during character sheet creation![/spoiler]
