Why o why can't I invite people on the app anymore?!?!?
I don't understand, ever since beyond light launched I can't invite or be invited. This is ruining my ability to party up for things like nightfall and raid. I can't add every single person as a friend thats ridiculous.

It sometimes works, I remember doing the brig brigade triumph and just inviting and people joined from the app The app before all the changes also never 100% worked

I've heard Sony changed the party system because some kid killed himself over being bullied while playing video games and the parents sued. I'm guessing this solves a problem somehow. I don't know if this is fact, nor will I bother researching it.

If it's on ps4 its because sony broke the old party system and I'm not even sure if theres a way for the app to work like it did

If you're on playstation It's due to the changes Sony made to parties and invites. Don't knkw why they changed it, the old way worked perfectly fine and didn't force you to regularly purge your friends list.

Shiiit just having a PS5 and trying to invite people from the lfg is a -blam!- and a half. Gotta write out everyone's name, make another party specifically for these new people, pray they don't have blocked preferences then you're in for more stupid garbo, sometimes PS4 players cannot get invites from PS5 players and other times they can't even load into the fireteam. It's like every year we're inventing new ways to make our lives easier while simultaneously making them even more annoying and shittier. Gwaaah!!!!

It's annoying, but it's because of next gen consoles. Bungie is supposed to roll out an update on the 8th I believe that will improve new and old console relationship.

Same here since the launch of beyond light i can't invite players or be invite anymore on the Destiny 2 app, also some of my friends are playing online destiny 2 and I can't see them on the roster anymore can you please fix this bungie
