PSA: If you used Le monarque for overloads......
Last season.........then Thorn might be your go to if you can fit it in.

1 ReplyHonestly it’s no where near as good, Le Monarque instantly stunned with a single tick while Thorn doesn’t. I have heard that Malfeasance is the better choice for stunning Overloads this season

Handcannons in general seems to be pretty good against champions this season. Not no the same level as bows were, but there are several handcannon perks that make them work well.

3 RepliesThe new crucible 180 hand cannon is working good for me for overloads. You need either sustained fire or high damage to keep them from regenerating health.

1 ReplyI noticed the DoT counts as “hits” too, so your Devourer effect can actually proc and reproc Overload rounds. Which is great. 👍 My next issue is how Thorn works with Boots of the Assembler though. Dark Remnants from kills with Thorn sometimes turn into Light Remnants (a la Lumina) when standing in a Rift using Boots of the Assembler. Not sure if this is intentional, but it kinda holds Thorn back in that case because the Light Remants don’t proc Mark of the Devourer and you ALSO can’t use the Noble Rounds with Thorn.

I just use anarchy, no need for mods, and since I use salvo I already have grenade launcher scav and finder so I always have full ammo

Fair point, it will have the same effect on the champion, I'll miss the aoe explosion that killed all the ads around it though
