Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from the filming studio of the hit TV show, Annie of the Stars! I can’t see much, though. I’m not supposed to be here, so I’m hiding behind some boxes! But there was no other place I could be, because i have some exciting news; the first DLC character of the new Skullgirls season pass has officially left beta testing, and is now available on PS4, and PC! While PC has been able to play as Annie for a while now, she’s now left Beta testing, which means you can play as Annie with players not using the Beta version of the game. Additionally, this also marks the release of Annie’s story mode (though voice acting won’t be added until after all Season Pass characters release)! Even more exciting, PS4 players can now purchase the Season Pass, and play as Annie there now, too! Switch will be getting Annie at later to be determined date, but so far no news on Xbox. Annie seems to be a well rounded rushdown character, with pretty good combo potential. However, her basic attacks are rather short ranged, and the projectiles she has aren’t very good. While her blockbusters can make up for that range somewhat, most of them push back opponents, making it difficult to close the gap. From my playtime, she seems to be something of a hit & run character; dive in, deal some damage, and then break away. Though, take that analysis with a grain of salt; I’m no expert. Her story mode was alright, but nothing special. Annie just felt really.. Tired of it all (which, granted was kinda the point), and it kinda dragged down the mood a bit. It might be better once it gets voice acting, though, it was still fun. [b][u]Tl;dr? Here’s point![/u][/b] Annie of the Stars, a brand new DLC character for Skullgirls: Second Encore has just seen her official release on PS4, and PC! How many of you care? Probably very few of you!
