I'm getting frustrated with the amount of inconsistency I get simply trying to roll competitive gear, and use it against other guardians.
On a side note, I notice changes on my game play I think, varying from changes in my characters mobility, to increased or decreases in accuracy or target acquisition on my guns or bow, mid gameplay without changing my load out, or mods on said weapons or armor.
Is it just me or could this be happening.
I'm getting a bit hopeless.
Please be respectful to me and others is you reply to my tread, this is just my honest experience in a two week return and grind in destiny.
I spent 4000 legendary shards I had been hording and whatnot.
Felt like I got a ton of gear and just had a hard time managing it at the time. Didn't know what I wanted or was looking for till it was gone, and now I'm not hardly getting any rewards from basic events like crucible or night fall strikes.
If I could take things back it would be taking back the 50-100 fusion rifles and same amount of shotguns I dismantled so I could sort thru them and find what works, and what doesn't
Now I'm stuck with an under ranged shotguns for crusible, something I'm not new to
And the last weekends xur fusion rifle for pvp called Hollow words I believe
It's fine but I think I like the ones I dismantled better probably
I know this all might sound like a big deal to you all, but I work pretty hard and spend lots of time, and a little bit of irl money to play destiny 2, and I feel like at the least, for the sake of this post, rolling accelerated coils should improve the charge time.
Thanks,
John on PlayStation.

Accelerated Coils does work. It doesn't change the charge time stat when you inspect the weapon, but if pay close attention you'll notice it's a bit faster.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 11/30/2021 5:56:47 PMThe Accelerated Coils issue you cite is actually working as intended since the big balance changes to Fusion Rifles at the start of Season of the Lost. The following is excerpted from (a long) section on Fusion Rifles in the TWAB dated 8/19/21 (emphasis added):
• Liquid Coils and Accelerated Coils needed a rework for similar reasons. • Both converted to scale charge time and damage instead of modifying the charge time stat. • The final effect is much the same as before, but these are now more robust, however they won't visibly change the charge time stat in the inspection screen.
