Bring back Red War Campaign like the new Campaign
Dear Bungie, Guardians, Taken and Stepmoms,
We will get a complettly reworked Story Campaign for new player and OG Veteran players with Master difficulty and a normal one, so now pls you this concept on the Red War Campaign (and maybe on Forsaken aswell someday) aswell. A lot of new player never got the chance to play it, and it was also a really good story that we want to replay anytime.
To replay the Story Missions would be really cool in a harder mode for thr veterans and its also really funny to play.
Whats you guys think?
PS: or just remove PvP and just make a whole Story based/CooP game lmao the lore is so great bring it on the screen too (dont take this" ps" one seriously lol)

1 ReplyEdited by Diamond243: 11/24/2022 2:26:05 PMI think it a good idea but I don't know how it was to play the original campaigns because when I started to play back in season of the worthy they did not say there were three free campaigns they just prompted me to buy forsaken so I waited till I got a summer job in 2021 and then I found out that there were three whole campaigns that were deleted.

I remember playing the demo and playing the first mission, it was awesome! Then I come back after 4 years and it’s complete trash, I couldn’t even understand the story anymore like why tf am I on the first destiny 1 mission and now why am I in the sky after I remember everything being destroyed, there’s no story to follow after the events of destiny 1. I will not play any destiny game until they bring back OG destiny 2.

Yeah idk why they deleted the content in the first place... Like is destiny 2 gonna last forever? Cause blipping out 60% of the game after charging people hundreds of dollars for dlc, to then charge them again hundreds of dollars for additional content that should have been an entirely new game is thr most asinine and scumbag business move imaginable. If i go to D1 everything is like it was from launch with a few acceptions. All the dlc still intact. But D2 is this constantly evolving -blam!-. Literally i cant comprehend this kind of marketing. At least add the raids the legends playlist so people can still acquire the armors and weapons if they want. Or rotate them out every weekend. But no... If you wanted this game to be a "Service" then just pull out all the damn stops and charge a per month fee pay to play. Why not? Youre already that low. Youre already that much of a scumbag. Do it. Its not cause the dev team was overwhelmed. Its cause you people wanted more money to stay at home during covid being fat.

3 RepliesThe story takes place on titan and other sunset planets so it is not really an option Bungie has said over and over they want to keep the game file small instead of a bloated mess like war zone… and considering so much of their player base is languishing on 2013 manufactured ps4 and Xbox 1 this is a understandable decision. Maybe in the next expansion they can stop supporting the old consoles and bring back more content into the legacy tab For those who don’t remember season of arrivals back when everything was available…. The loading times between destinations was atrocious and nobody played the old raids or content anyway

Removing story is outright stupid in the first place, not to mention how there's an article about how they don't like having competing stories in the game like, are you serious? All of those stories are competing instead of making a cohesive storyline? I can't believe how stupid it is

I mean...I get the idea. But it's not for me. The first campaign playthrough is great, but then being forced to do it on two more characters if I want to progress them is a grind that is just obnoxious. So having legend versions of old campaigns just isn't my jam. I'm sure WQs campaign will be a blast - I'm already planning to run on legend - but after running a campaign three times...I just would rather never have to run the missions again.

Seems like a perfect chance now that they have a way to make the content relevant again. However despite my frustrations with the system even existing, content vaulting was done for a reason. For this to happen, Bungie would have to come out and tell us publicly that the intention is to eventually return all content when it’s been reworked, and potentially only return it to next gen/PC. I’m rather certain last gen cannot handle anymore content on it’s servers than it has now, and I think they’re the primary thing holding this back. Edit: but, maybe we could more readily see the story missions on any given location in the game already return? Like EDZ’s. The story would be sorta disjointed, but it’d be nice to play them again regardless

4 RepliesI think that since d2's engine is old and outdated, bungie should create a mission or 2 from each campaign that allows new players to experience the storyline of each campaign. Take Ghaul, they can show us with no light, another how we recovered our light, and maybe a mission or 2 of us getting to Ghaul and killing him.
