Screen Tearing Non Stop, V Sync Not Changing Anything

I have been getting non-stop screen tearing lately and nothing I have tried has worked. I've tried: - Deleting the Bungie temp folder with the cvars.xml - Uninstalling, Deleting all files including the temp folder. - Reinstalled Nvidia Drivers - Changed the install to a different storage drive. - Changed the Fullscreen, to Fullscreen Windowed mode, or just windowed. - Tried launching without V-Sync testing it out, then re-enabling it. Over time the tearing gives me a crazy headache and I can't keep playing with it doing this. The expansion just released and now I have to take a step back. Does anyone have a good way to fix this? Or have you been experiencing this?

Are you using Nvidia GPU or AMD GPU? I had this problem with Nvidia on the latest drivers just after this expansion launched. There was often a blurry screen tear line in the center of the screen and the action made the picture jump like an old CRT. I do not have an AMD GPU but with Nvidia I found that I had to go to the following: Nvidia Control Panel < Change Resolution Ensure your resolution matches your monitor and that the refresh rate is as high as your monitor supports. After this last update my stuff was set to 60hz and I didn’t notice because I hadn’t been playing. It was also trying to do 1440p but I have a 165hz 1080p display. No idea why but just double check that. Next go to the option “Manage 3D Settings” Under this option don’t bother with the global settings instead select tab “Program Settings” and select Destiny 2. If you don’t see it there is an option to search for it there. Once you have it selected, scroll to the bottom of those settings and look for VSync and set it to the option Fast. Then apply and close out. When you load Destiny 2 make sure you have VSync enabled and that your VSync isn’t higher than your monitors refresh rate.
