[BUG REPORT] Can't unlock Void class for hunter and issue with solar fragments
I recently deleted and remade my hunter because I wanted her to be an Exo. I progressed through the starting story and all that, unlocked my arc subclass and couldn't progress further. I don't even have a quest to unlock the void class anymore. I had it out the other day, but after trying to figure it I had given up. Loaded the game today, and the quest is gone. I checked the quest archive and it's not there either. This is quite frustrating as Void is my favorite.
Additionally. Some of my Solar fragments are locked despite purchasing and meditating them. Ember of Benevolence, Beams, Empyrean, Char, Ashes, and Wonder are all saying "Not yet unlocked". But again, I have purchased them and mediated on them. Also very frustrating because Solar 3.0 might be making Solar my new favorite. I have seen other posts regarding this, but don't see mention of it on Bungie Help's Twitter.

I have the same issue as well. A couple of weeks ago when I made an Exo Hunter I had trouble getting Arc to unlock. I used arc weapons for a while and the quest popped up. Now I decided that I really wanted my Hunter human so I started a new Human Hunter and I can't access Void at all. Talking to Ikora doesn't help. I can buy a bunch of Void stuff but it still says Void is unfocused and the quest isn't available in the kiosk either. Using Void weapons didn't trigger it to unlock this time either.

It feels like this is a really common issue, I was able to buy all of the fragments and meditate to unlock everything besides the melee which seems like the issue with unlocking the subclass

Update. I tried making a new character on PS4 (I'm usually on PC) and it still didn't work. It appears this isn't exclusive to PC.

Have the same issue are they aware of the bug or are they patching the issue?

1 ReplyI also have this problem. Recreated my Hunter, have my Arc and Solar. Void states unfocused Boyd energy into talk to Ikora. Nothing. Fix it or manually unlock it for us.

3 RepliesHas anyone reached out to you on this? I recently started playing the game again, and it is frustrating that the new solar skill tree is bugging out the void. Hopefully, they will fix this soon. I would rather not have to make a new character.
