Destiny 2 crashes on startup (Steam)
Since sunday the game suddenly blocks during the startup (just after or before the bungie logo) without giving any kind of error. It is quite odd, especially considering that no hardware or software modifications were made and that the game worked fine until saturday. No other programs are running with Destiny, and I have already tried checking the integrity of the game files and a fresh installation.
I've seen many posting on the forums having the same problem, does anyone have a fix for that?

Edited by VinDD: 6/2/2022 9:00:14 AMI have the same issue. * integrity checked * steam reinstalled * destiny 2 reinstalled And then reinstall windows11, At this step, Destiny2 works like usual, but after I upgraded windows 11 to OSbuild 22000.708, Destiny2 crash immediately after I clicked "start game" in steam. Please fix this soom. Many Thansk. : )

4 RepliesIm also having the same issue since the new update. Everything worked fine an hour before. Unfortunately disabling the steam overlay did not work for me

So, abt 5-6 months ago i had the same issue. It would just crash when i tried to launch the game. The way i fixed it made no sense, but it worked- i just turned off steam overlay of destiny 2 in steam and for some reason it worked fine after that. If that doesnt work idk what to tell you.
