There are some weapons that I would really like to see come back, just because I think they deserve a major rework and we haven't really had time to enjoy them. It wasn't necessarily all popular, but frankly, it would be cool.
1 - Pocket Infinity : The very first seraphic weapon (Rasputin weapons) of Destiny, which never benefited from any rework, because of its too high power in PvP. It's time to bring it back and find another way to use it. Give some love to this fusion rifle that remains lost.
2 - Khvostov 7G-0X : Why bring back the "common" version of this starting weapon for the New Lights, but not transfer the exotic for the "veteran" players? I find it a bit strange, especially since it's more or less represents the beginning of the adventure and many of us like its design.
3 - Universal Remote : This was the very first exotic weapon I won in D1 and the one I always used when I was doing the VoG back then. I loved it and it would give a bit of a change from the many players who use Felwinter a bit too much in PvP in my opinion.
4 - Dreg's Promise : Just because... we already have the Queenbreaker and the Lord of Wolves, so... why not this ?
5 - Fabian Strategy / Tlaloc : Cayde gives us his Ace of Spades... so why Zavala and Ikora doesn't want to give us their favorite weapons ? Do we have to kill them too to get it ?
6 - Ice Breaker : I think the players who played D1 know why this weapon needs to make a comeback.
And for close this topic :
Nova Mortis / Abbadon : Cause Thunderlord variations was cool no ?

Edited by KannibalKlown: 6/15/2022 4:09:42 AMAs for the kvovstov auto rifle and veterans… It’s been a while but I believe our vault started from complete scratch with destiny 2. The lore reason was the red legion blew up our vault when they attacked. Gameplay reason was likely so we all started off fresh and not with god tier equipment. But. I could be remembering that wrong. I know the vault was accessible from the FARM when we got there in the beginning of red war and I thought it was empty there too. But I could be wrong. Personally I’d be fine if they added that gun back. Travelers Chosen was kind of destiny 2s version of the gun. You go on a quest to get a cool exotic version of the sidearm you were forced to use while roaming the countryside lightless.

No to Icebreaker as there is enough problems with the special ammo in the Crucible. This was a problem in D1 and will make matters worse in D2. As for that blasted auto rifle why it was a joke. It's exotic perk was you could select fire rates. However the damage per hit stayed the same so was rubbish in taking down pve enemies never mind pvp. Legendary autos were a lot better and you still had a exotic you could use.
