No one ever contacts me, so my phone is on do not disturb 24/7 which means I never get scam calls/texts. -

If it's on my cellphone, I don't answer it. I'll go into the history of the call, block the number and delete the call record. At work we get at least 8-10 a day. A lot of them are busy signals, which makes no sense to me at all. Some are prerecorded messages that are half over by the time we pick up the call. And then there are the telemarketers who you know the numbers because they call all the time, but it's usually a different rube they roped into making calls that day. Those I use to play along with. Nowadays I just hang up on them. We were at one time going to get a boat horn (the really loud air horn in a can) to blow into the receiver, but didn't because the rest of the office may not appreciate it....
