Nerfing Divinity was the wrong move...

What SHOULD be done is [i]BUFF[/i] the other forms of weaken. Tether SHOULD already be 30% weaken, Tractor Cannon should have a bit more because it's a shotgun, warlocks Old Gods orb is a whole set up process so it should have a bit more. I'm not saying EVERYTHING needs to be 30% but cutting Divinity in half is bullshit, and a super should have the most.

    • Div was everything way too easy. Now you have to try a little bit harder to get debuff rotations. Oh no. And now that it's been brought down a peg, Bungie wouldn't have to feel forced to design boss encounters with Div in mind...just look at how much HP newer raid boss fights have.

        • It is a bad thing for old content and a good one for new content. The problem with a balance in the older content always existed, like nearly every old content is super easy with current builds, but I remember in Witch Queen we had an issue with master VoG, it was much harder because we didn't had an access to a very strong seasonal debuff mods like we did in season 13 and 14. I doubt Bungie will ever balance older content for current sandbox. People will cry about divinity nerf until they realise that it will make no impact on their life. Normal raids will be as easy as they are right now. It will only affect master raids. It's definitely a change for the future content, for not balancing the game around 1 weapon. It's pretty boring then you literally forced to use the same strategy for harder content like master raids and day one's. Bungie probably built future content because Divinity isn't going to be the best option for everything, which means other debuff sources might become relevant again
