As it says in the title above, divinity is not the problem in my opinion. Of course, the weapon somewhere replaces the tether. But for that you could play any other super as Hunter and it was not fixed, I am Hunter and I have to play Tether now. You could play whatever you wanted. But let's see how it all turns out.
But I think that divinity is not the balance problem. The problem is armor changing in combat. For example, players put on armor that charges them with 5 stacks of Light and then when it goes to the boss fight, they put on armor with, say, 5 times Firepower. This is totally broken.
I think you should leave the mods as they are because if you use them as you should they are strong but not OP.
A very good balance update would be if the equipment is locked during a phase. That means you are before an encounter and you can change your armor, customize mods so the equipment is not locked. As soon as the encounter is started, the equipment is locked and only unlocked again when the entire team is dead, so a wipe comes or the encounter is completed. I would add this to every raid and dungeon. All this not only for a boss encounter but for every encounter.
I would be happy if you could write your opinion about it and I would be very happy if someone from the team says something about it.
Please remember I'm not crying about the nerf, I'm just saying let's see how it works. I just want to bring up another problem and draw attention to it.

You don't have to play anything. You can kill any boss in this game easily with no debuffs & just hit your crit shots. Everything else in this game just makes boss encounters EASIER. Div. just went over the line & made the endgame way too easy & became a mandatory go to for people that can't aim.
