If you don't like the concept of your guardian first being revived in the cosmodrome, where would they first be brought back?

There’s a strike banter with the drifter where he says “all the best guardians come from the cosmodrome” and I thought that was funny because we ALL come from the cosmodrome

Titan (Human)-Cosmodrome: a pure unrivaled soldier. Hunter (Exo)-Las Vegas: a wandering gambler, the wild card, anti-hero. Warlock (Awoken)-The Reef: a friend of Uldren Sov.

I like these kind of threads =) I've always imagined my Guardian being revived somewhere like Poland or Norwey, maybe in an old military base or something. Then reaching the E.D.Z (which should be situated in Germany), meet some Guardians there and thanks to them reach the Last Ctiy.

Honestly if I could my home of Wales, in the ruins of a castle besieged by fallen and in the hall litters of graves with fallen and human weapons used as grave stones surrounding a lone soon to be chosen guardian kneeling with a impaled by a spear in his metal body, a handcannon dropped to the ground in front of him and my guardian leaning against a sword who never fell to the ground. Sounds cheesy? Probably but to me that sounds bad*ss.

Somewhere in New Mexico in the desert after a winter snowfall. Woke up, found a rusty revolver and then encountered some refugees being extorted by the fallen. When he drew his gun to defend them, the gun didn't fire bc of years of disuse. The fallen crew laughed at him and their sniper killed him in one shot. As they closed on the refugee camp, his ghost resurrected him and he drew a golden gun from the light, burning away the fallen raiders. From then on he was known as blaze, and he called his ghost ash. Lived in the wild for a few years before encountering another light bearer that took him and his refugees to the City where destiny's story begins in Canon.

Edited by Centaur-1: 11/24/2022 12:56:55 AMMy male exo titan was found in an abandoned Bray facility on Europa midway through the Dark Ages. My female human hunter was found in the EDZ soon before the Red War. My male awoken warlock was found somewhere in the Reef around the beginning of the City Age. I imagine these characters as separate from ‘The Guardian’ because I didn’t want to disrupt any of the canon lore and I wanted more creative freedom with the adventures my guardian go on.

For my Hunter, I’ve written short stories involving her resurrection outside of Sojourner’s Camp. I’m not sure yet why she was there at all, that’s a work in progress. Makes the story fun for myself and my character as we both work out why she had died there to begin with. It’s my favorite place in the game. So quiet and tranquil, and full of history.
