Honestly, requiring a legend clear 4 times is overkill.
It takes almost 2 hours to finish this with 3 people, I can't even get past the 3 brigs when you have to get captured, it's -blam!- frustrating for a subpar exotic that can't even keep up with the content that's ABSOLUTELY -blam!- NECESSARY for it to be even halfway decent.
You put in 6-10 invisible enemies that change every time I do this stupid encounter, random 1-2s appear out of nowhere, rracer shanks shoot through walls, and Brigs live through hits from Gjallarhorn when they have less than 5% HP.
Why do you require me to complete this masochism 4 -blam!- times? I thought this was a cool dungeon at first but now I hate it, and I hate the exotic, even Ticuu's Divination was a better grind than this -blam!- show, and that was 600 -blam!- vanguard strikes. I'd rather do that 50 times over than deal with the stupidly scaled HP of enemies.
This isn't a challenge, it's a -blam!- chore.

Try doing it solo, it’s not too bad and my runs are 45-60mins, plus you don’t wipe if your team mates keep dying, you take all the blame for wiping. For the Brig room, start on the right as there is a small room on the back wall to fall back into if you are being overwhelmed. Do the mid Brig next and left last. Focus the sniper shanks as they hit hard.

I think it's one of the best exotic missions, crawling through vents, stealing key cards, pretending to get captured, feels like I am playing Metal Gear Destiny Sure the lack of a timer makes it easier, but I would put it right there with Presage and Zero Hour, night and day improvement from the boring messenger mission The Bugs are the biggest issue however, having to restart because the captain doesn't drop the key card, or the first boss doesn't spawn, but when it works its amazing -
Enemy scaling ramps up hard in a team inside of Legend Seraph Shields. Definitely a night and day difference solo clearing it.

1. Try it with a team of two, the enemies are considerably less tanky. 2. There is a rhythm to the brigs fight. The invis-vandals don’t show up randomly, and if you fight from the back wall you limit the number of directions they can come at you from. 3. During last boss fight, I fight from the cat walks. Which reduces the threat from the mobs. 4. Personal choice, I run with a glaive as my special weapon. It takes down enemies quickly out to mid-range, and the shield makes revives easier.
-
I haven't tried Legend Seraph's Shield as a duo to back this but apparently the enemy scaling is a lot better with one or two people. Maybe try it with a fireteam of two next time.

You clearly haven't played PvP, if you think that's is the worst content

4 RepliesSorry to say this but it's a skill issue.

2 hours? Are you doing a melee only run or something? There’s 0 reason it should take you more then 40 minutes whether you’re solo or in a team lol.
-
I soloed it in 2 hours, most of my deaths where my fault because I decided to use a heavy gl and a blinding nade gl, made my dps weak, tried again with actual weapons(wither, vouchsafe, rocket) and easily 40 clear.
-
Careful solo flawless takes about ONE hour for one person...
-
Awesome mission, dude!!!

Then don't play it. It's really that simple. You don't like the content, you think the reward is subpar, and it's taking you WAY too long to complete, even in a full fireteam. Don't play it. Period. Also if it's taking you 2 hours to finish this mission with THREE people....might wanna self-reflect.

I am far from a PVE god and I can finish it in less time then 2 hours. Perhaps change your loadout?
-
Honestly from what I can tell it's actually easier solo due to how enemy health seems to scale with multiple guardians around. Just requires patience to pull off solo, but at least thay way you don't have to worry about wiping the run just because your teammate died somewhere you couldn't revive them before the timer runs out. Did it with a team last week and took maybe an hour or so. I'll probably be going solo again this week just to speed things up
-
This is a case of get good. I did it solo in about an hour and fifteen minutes. And I was walking around with a trace rifle and smg.
nibbles crayon
-
I've done legendary solo and with 2 others. It seemed easier solo, especially when dealing with bosses and tankier brigs.
-
Do it solo trust me
-
Your opinion. I really like the quest and the gun . 2 hours ?! Holy moly . I usually solo it both modes . If you want the upgrades do it , if not don’t touch it .
-
9 RepliesI’ll admit it’s quite a long mission. But how is it taking you 2 hours with a full fire team? Takes me 1 hour on my own. I think it’s a great mission, could just do with a checkpoint after the brig encounter to counter server issues
-
Try doing it solo, it scales difficulty with how many players there are.

as always reading is the hardest part in d2 for 90% of the community

That's not even the problem, it's annoying AND buggy as hell this week. Clearing it is more time consuming than anything else cause of the progress breaking bugs forcing a restart.
