Recovery is insanely strong, resilience is outright game breaking offering not just total hp but also flinch resistance, mobility does… virtually nothing.
It not only doesn’t boost sprint speed (in a game where all you do is sprint), it doesn’t actually boost the height of your actual jump, just the pre jump height, both of which are virtually unnoticeable.
Now in the past a buff to mobility could have been seen as overkill, however wave after wave of nerfs has left hunter not even close to the top spot and all you need to do is look at what’s running around in the current iron banner to see hunter is anything but meta. Hunter is easily the slowest class at this point anyway, even with stompees the fastest hunter has no hope of catching up with a shoulder charge spamming titan (ironic considering most run around with next to no ‘mobility’).
It’s time stacking 100 mobility gave something other than just class ability recharge rate.

1 ReplyEdited by CrimsonRakan: 6/20/2024 5:23:15 PMWith the sprint and jump boost being a joke, I see only 6 options for the mobility stat ever getting justice. 1 an actual buff, 25-30% to sprint at least 2 10-15 buff to jump ability (unique effect for blink) 3 dropping the base sprint and jump boost of tier 5 and less by a noticeable amount. 4 mobility effects jump ability velocity 5 mobility increases casting speed of class abilities and supers. 6 and by far the worst option... removal of resilience, recovery, and mobility. Ps I posted this on a forum of my own. Please give it an up vote if you wanna see a balance change for mobility

Isn't mobility tied to your strafe speed..?

I would rather be a slow self healing tank , than a mobile marshmallow, I only use movement Exotics for jump puzzles Even on Hunter, I can use The Title to get my dodges back -
1 ReplyMobility should make sprint faster.
-
its give movement and strafe speed which is more important for skilled players in pvp then the usual people
-
Bungie: We’re listening- nerfing Resilience to give you 5% damage reduction, no health benefits, nerfing recovery health regen by 50%, and nerfing Gjhallarhorn’s reload speed by 25%. This should bring other stats in line with the uselessness of mobility.”

3 RepliesEdited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 1/7/2023 4:00:00 AMMobility is very useful. Increased strafe speed, maneuverability, and faster dodge cool down. Just not everyone is going to sacrifice their survivability for it like a Hunter will.

4 RepliesI think first and foremost Hunters should be faster than any other class. When I’m on my tier 10 mobility hunter I am outrun by tier 5 mobility titans. It’s ridiculous. My friend plays a Titan. Tier 5 mobility. We play private matches a lot. I get his health down to nothing but I can’t finish him off bc he’s faster than me. That’s so ridiculous. Titan is so much better than anything else right now. Your tankier, faster and you have the most devastating abilities. Plus the barricade.

Hunter main here: it's definitely not useless but I would like it tied to something meaningful like resilience, or recover. Problem is, Bungie failed to make anything like that, or at least I can't think of anything. Maybe they could tie it to sprint, jumping, dodging, dashing, etc and maybe reload speed when in combat? Like each 10 mobility grants 1 reload, so it's not too cracked in PvP.
-
2 RepliesDon’t you just love sprinting in pvp with 100 mobility and Titan catches up with you with only 20 mobility ? Make it make sense . Hate wasting points on mobility when other two classes don’t but are still faster
-
1 ReplyWould LOVE a sprint speed increase with mobility, but I could see how that might get a little imbalanced. I feel like some kind of handling-type buff with mobility could make sense too and might be easier to balance.
-
Recovery I think the most useless Maybe str? Agility still good for Hunter

9 RepliesEdited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 1/7/2023 3:07:50 AMMobility should boost sprint it’s weird that it doesn’t especially for hunters which are the only class that really benefits from it and they’re also the slowest movement wise Hunter isn’t the slowest class “at this point” it’s literally always been, it cannot move as fast as Titan or Warlock, you lose too much momentum while jumping. Granted Arc changes this with amplified, that’s because of a buff not an innate ability.
-
3 RepliesMobility should influence sprint speed and slide distance.
-
Bump!
-
No, you’re right, titan’s are the OP PVP class now but, just like hunters have always done, they continually whine about how weak they are and how unfair it is. You know, the old smoke screen tactic.
-
7 RepliesResiliance used to only matter to Titans, so Bungie buffed it. Mobility only matters to Hunters, so where's the buff?
-
1 ReplyI would argue that strengh is the most useless stat, but mobility is not that far off.

3 RepliesTo me intellect is the most useless tbh. I couldnt see a diff between having 70 intell and 35 on my titan yesterday. I was getting my super basically as fast
-
People said this about resilience for years. So there’s definitely hope.
-
1 ReplyEdited by DHawk12: 1/7/2023 8:19:17 AMIncreased strafe speed is not useless, unless you are a bot or ape.
-
Any slow warlock being 'dragged' through a strike against his will may disagree. Hunters should disagree. For titans, mobility is easily negated.
-
its useful in pvp only.

5 RepliesTitans have a jet pack built in, you should always lose in a race with them. Hunters have 2 jumps, which is better than one obviously. I guess you want the jet pack too.
-
That's what people used to say about resilience and look at it now. I'm sure in the future it'll matter but right now unless your in a Hunter it sure doesn't.
