Heavy gls need a really really big buff with lightfall because the one from season of the plunder wasn't enough
They do abysmal damage at base and are heavily outclassed by the 2nd worse heavy weapon archetype of lmgs. Please bungie give them a huge buff with lightfall

Best for fast dps in the first 3 seconds. They do need reserves buff. Getting only 4 extra grenades from 2 reserve mods is pitiful.

Don't worry. GL with Chill clip will be the Meta. Then they will make only the 1st round in the full Mag to do Slow. Then nerf GLs.. that's what Bungie does

6 RepliesI feel like they have a place. Decent add clear, especially with chain reaction. They just aren't great for DPS. Parasite is useful in niche situations like Atraks. I am concerned about how they're gonna feel without the weakend clear mod once the season ends.

Really tho, was hyped to hear they were getting a damage buff because prospector has been my favorite heavy since launch. Only for it to only increase total DPS by 44.6K... Meanwhile 3 rockets already surpasses a total reserves damage from GLs. That and PvE blast radius is a joke on most GLs. Half the time i hit dead center of a group of red bars and it almost kills em but not quite...

I agree the last legendary heavy gl I've used was the wendigo gl3 before it was sunset. And then anarchy pre-nerf.

2 RepliesI would definitely like to see a buff to spike grenades. Would make for a good solar power build with the iron banner grenade launcher.
