Let us que for solo strikes. I'm so sick of speedrunners dashing through enemies, ignoring new lights, and over all acting like trolls. Seen some of the most toxic players in strikes speedrunning. I don't care that you have done them a thousand times, so have I, but I carry my weight, and stop to help people.
I would rather just do a strike solo and enjoy it, versus dealing with speedrunners, give us the option to just play solo.

We’ve been running the same strikes for years, except the WQ ones and they are a borefest too already. I don’t like speed running, but can’t blame anyone for wanting to get them over as fast as possible. It is ridiculous to have every enemy memorized and Bungie never changes anything. They haven’t announced any new Lightfall strikes either, so get ready to run Exodus Crash a few hundred more times.

3 RepliesI have a need for speed and efficiency. While you’re busy star gazing, I’m clapping enemy cheeks.
-
There’s more pressing issues with the core playlist than this minor inconvenience to a minority. Deal with it. At worst you’re short a fractional amount of rep for a bounty, and at best you completed another redundant strike for a pinnacle.
-
1 ReplySo Bungie put a requirement into Master Lost Sectors that you must complete it solo if you want rewards, but also says that making strikes soloable is not feasible???
-
If you're on PS you van set your clock forward and zone into most activities solo. I do it almost always.
-
3 RepliesUnpopular opinion: the game would be better off without Eager Edge in it.
-
I agree we should have solo strikes as an option but calling people just playing through the strike faster than you "toxic" is a bit much.

Edited by LocoToopa: 1/31/2023 8:22:15 AMLet us what for solo strikes?
-
3 RepliesI wish there was a way to separate the speed runners from everyone else. Give them their own playlist? Hell, I dunno. If they speed ahead and die, I will not rez them. In fact I go full potato and just fire 1 or 2 shots randomly in the genera vacinity of a group of enemies. At the end of the day, though, it really isn't that big deal.

3 RepliesYep, the game needs solo strikes. Was in one other night with an arsehole warlock floating around everywhere spamming solar grenades all time couldn’t do any gunsmith or vanguard bounties.
-
4 RepliesOptional matchmaking for everything. It’s annoying to choose Legend only to avoid having blueberries around. Same for destinations.

1 ReplyI am, on occasion, one of those "trolls" you mentioned. But, under most circumstances I try to keep pace with the teammates I'm matched with. That said though, it would be nice to run solo strikes without having to change the date setting on my system.

Warframe is a 100% free to play game, and they have had optional matchmaking toggle in the game for years. Bungie has announced some good quality of life upgrades coming to the game, the only problem is that is about 4 years after the need for those upgrades were brought to their attention. Their improvements to bring the game up to the same level that other games reached years ago slowly trickle in, usually just in time to sell a new expansion.

Edited by shwabbywabby: 1/31/2023 12:44:59 AMRan a few strikes today where match making didn’t work so I ended up running them solo. I honestly don’t see a need to add a solo queue for strikes. If I want to do bounties (which I don’t) I’d use legend nightfalls and strikes in themselves don’t pose enough of a challenge to be interesting enough to want to do by myself.

Won't ever happen. They have addressed this and the reason there is MM is because it requires good players to help bad players finish somewhat efficiently. Hate or not, that's why it exists and it wont ever change.

I agree with this somewhat, I am not 100 percent sold on the idea of solo strikes, but I am in favor of telling people who run past all the enemies "because they can" is kind of shitty tbh. If you can clear the room in a timely manner it's one thing, but it's another to utterly just ditch your teammates to try and beat your personal best. It's a strike put the ego aside for like five minutes and help new lights and the other players out, you are not going to get any guardian points in light fall for being fast in fact it makes you more of a detriment than anything. and I bet any pve player worth their salt would rather have someone who sticks with the team rather than a lone wolf who runs off alone with eager edge and gets themself killed. Then again that's just my opinion but people can play however they want, regardless if it makes them a detriment to their team.

If doing strikes solo was an option. I would do them literally all the time. I am 100% for this.
-
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this.

2 RepliesThe only way around it is to put your time forward a month then nobody joins
-
2 RepliesI haven't tried it, but would setting game's MM options to invite only, etc, still allow one to do a strike solo? Or will you be in orbit limbo?
-
The best way to stop speed runners is to make each part a strike matter. cant proceed till everything is dead or the mechanic of said area is done
-
I would like, at the very least, the strikes on the destination map to be given a solo option. Bungie wouldn't even have to mess with the playlist option.
-
If you are on console change the date so you won't be matched with anyone and there is a way on PC too but I don't know what it is you'll have to look it up.
