the bigger issue is why 1000 silver didn't get it's price increased to $12. And also are we going to be able to buy 1200 at a time or not? because if we have to buy 1000 + 500 and then have 300 silver laying around for 4 months begging to be spent on everworst. It is a sure way for bungie to increase their sales i guess. We should be able to buy the seasons with real money and not some ingame currency.
-
Inflation is at an all time high. I don’t blame bungie for this. Guess you wanted to be cheap and not purchase deluxe. $2 is a soda. Nothing worth griping over. If they went off and raised it $5-$10 than I could understand frustration. It’s only $2, hold the door open for people at McDonald’s for an hr and you’ll make more. Nothing better to do but complain?
-
Maybe they should change it to 1200 silver for twelve bucks. But that would make way too much sense.

2 dollar increase in season pass is disgusting. Fixed that for you. When you put it like this, all of you people complaining actually look so petty. Either pay or don’t. Consume or don’t.
-
Sad part is, people are still going to buy it, and then complain about the same issues happening. Then talk about the same thing right before next season. The community likes to complain but never follows through. They want to have that bigger number by their name and then complain the game sucks.
-
The problem isn’t a price increase. It’s that Bungie has not proven why we should pay more. There hasn’t been an update in game infrastructure, hasn’t been responding to Bug reports. Is reducing game replayability by removing light I crease with no new processes. If you want more money you have to increase value. That’s how capitalism works
-
Inflation is understandable, but I wont spend my money unless we as people get paid more to match inflation, since inflation has gotten out of control for the last few decades.
-
Money money
-
Yeah it is. People bring up inflation like them charging 20$ for dungeons doesn’t cover that
-
Something tells me all is not well at Bungie. Witchqueen, in my opinion, was amazing. But even after the MASSIVE amount of money infused by Sony, what has happened? Same outdated engine, useless servers (which I believe still run D1 AND D2),, and a totally abysmal season lacking in originality and content, with more bugs and breakdowns than ever that are not being addressed. I know the cost of living has gone up globally, but where has 3.6 billion dollars gone? If the infrastructure was updated to state of the art, if all the bugs and technical problems were fixed, and if we had new content to look forward to, I would gladly pay more for the deluxe editions. But as it stands, to raise the price for this drivel, is an insult. And specifically raising the price just for season passes is nothing short of prejudice. I maybe wrong, but I think less players are investing in the full seasons, and prefer to cherry pick the bits that appeal to them, and it's these sensible people who are going to have to pay the price. If we are going to be given sub standard workmanship, we should be paying sub standard prices. But I would love to know where all the investment is actually being spent, because it's certainly not on Destiny 2
-
Disgusting is the wrong word. I say it's not okay what happens since Beyond Light. Bungie knows there are people who love their game and are willing to be tolerant (because of their agenda) but anything has a breakpoint, also in economy. The complaints are business as usual in here since years but this year it has reached another quality. Bungie should stop with his stoic attitude and come with something good instead of let the game bleed out.
-
Should have bought the Deluxe edition, you are going to pay a good amount more than I did
-
It's like £2 extra. If you can't afford that you probably shouldn't be playing video games
-
Technically it’s 50 percent unless you got some spare silver laying around
-
If it’s disgusting, don’t pay it. If the cost to enjoyment ratio is out then stop playing and paying. Literally everything else has increased in price so why wouldn’t the price of a season? I’m not defending the price increase by the way, but it’s hardly unexpected.
-
Lmao they want +20% For??? Right nothing. They fix nothing Just Like the Sound bug. Week 4 without patch. Every season the Same old Copy n Paste content + weapons for which the Most Payd already for. Do Not forgett to pre-order Destiny 3 next year where AS content is d2 content?
-
What disgusting is peoples like you choosing words to make their complain seem valid But of course you wouldn't make a post saying the increase is 2$ Which for a year is only an increase of 5$ Of you this broke ....maybe D2 isn't for you

Anyone actually playing destiny shouldn't be bothered by this lol.. $2 for people that skip 2 seasons? That's fine man lol.
-
If the game worked most of the time and we got a decent story worth following, I could understand inflation but the game is literally falling apart around us with no new engaging content and their promise to bring back challenge did nothing but alienate the casuals while still making "endgame" content laughably easy for anyone that knows how to build a half decent character. All the while patting themselves on the back for community engagement and caring for your feelings.
-
“Disgusting”. Hahaha oh geez 🙄
-
Not if you buy the deluxe 😉
-
It's not that there's a price increase that bothers me, it's that you have to spend 15 instead of the 12 retail value to get the silver needed.
-
Double it. No, triple it. No, take the double, cut it in half. I'm trying to lose weight.
-
For those who are supporting the price increase, let's wait until the end of season 21 where we can determine if the quality goes up or not. I'm betting on the latter but I also would love to be wrong.
