I had purchased the digital deluxe edition of Destiny 2 (vanilla release), which included the Emperor's Shadows emblem. Since I had cross saved my primary account (Xbox, where I ordered the deluxe edition) to my steam account in 2020, this emblem hasn't been visible in my collection, but I've still been able to keep it in my titan's inventory.
It's only been until now (launch of Season of the Deep) where the game simply won't let me equip the emblem at all, saying "Requires Emblem Not Owned", probably since my steam account hadn't ordered the deluxe edition back then[?] (even though d2 wasn't on steam at that time yet). I'm a little worried the emblem will just disappear from my titan's inventory soon, so some sort of fix on this would be neat.

Same problem for me, it's very annoying.

2 RepliesI'm having the same issue. Hopefully they patch it since to me this seems like something that would be included with the cross play features. Fully aware that you have to buy each expansion for whatever platform you want to play on, but something like this should be "grandfathered in"

It looks like they finally updated those items to actually reflect DLC ownership. You can use the emblem all you want you just have to play on Xbox to do so.
