Just a reminder that the Bungie store is a literal scam operation.

Another poorly made, falsely advertised, and overpriced item being sold by Bungie's store. The Bungie store is a scam. And it always has been.

    • I never buy anything from the bungie store. I never got the point earning the right to buy something. For example the raid jackets and seal pins. I completed the seal in game so now I have the right to pay for an irl pin? Why not mail me one for completing it in game. Plus they take 6 months to deliver an order and have no dedicated support phone number. Just a horrible experience all together imo.

      • This is a reminder that you don't have a clue as to how stores, suppliers and manufacturers work. Bungie doesn't make the products. Nor do they put their hands on them to ship. The manufacturer sends proofs/prototypes that get approved for sale and that is what is shown in the Bungie store. The products get sent to fulfillment warehouses/centers. No one there is going to compare each to what is shown on a website. The problem is with whoever manufactured the products. I'm 100% sure Bungie is pursuing a solution and resolution to get the customers what they ordered. Stop being an overly dramatic uninformed child.

        • It takes months to get what you already paid for. Why buy overpriced Walmart quality crap just to look like a fashion faux pas?

        • Why so people buy from the Bungie store? It's always been horrible with nonexistent support. You'd get more support buying a "Versace" suit from the trunk of someone's car in a gas station parking lot.

        • I will never understand why people complain about eververse. These are wholly cosmetic items. If you want to talk about expansion pricing and content fine, you at least have a leg to stand on with that. But cosmetic items in the store, either buy them or don't. But stop crying about it.

          • Bungie pays other companies/businesses to make the things and you just send them the money to basically have bungie tell the company to make and send you one (Possibly a big reason it takes like a year to send) this is 50/50 Bungie's fault and the company that made them fault. Bungie should do quality control and be checking on what the company is doing but the company also shouldn't be providing false things as their product.

            • And the clothing brand that made this obviously low quality false advertised thing shut down months ago? Lol it's almost like Bungie buys from contractors on Alibaba and such other popup shops that sell low effort scams then pack up and leave so people can't get a refund or place in complaints against their "business"

                  • I paid for g-horn about two years ago. Ad said two weeks wait, got an email from the bungie store talking about a three month wait. I immediately got my money back. Never paid for anything at the Bungie store again.

                      • Only things I’ve bought from the Bungie store are digital soundtracks. The physical items have a tendency to be far too expensive for my tastes. That sweatshirt should be refunded with no requirement to return it, it really is that bad.

                      • LOL! Good lord, that along with the Iron Banner one posted in the comments are horrible. I think all my Bungie Store purchases have been made while drinking. I liked getting Moment of Triumph shirts but I swear a few years ago it didn't take 6 months to get them. I just had my Archangel stuffed dog arrive in the mail this weekend after ordering it in December, that's the last they'll get from me. The store's customer service is so bad AI could have better bedside manners. I reached out about an order that was delayed past when it's description said it would ship. I got back a message that I need to review the description. Yeah, I did, it's 2 months past the ETA with no status, ugh.
