The average GM takes 25 minutes and you're guaranteed an Exotic armor piece/ascendant shard + another ascendant shard, an ugly -blam!- memento, and an Adept weapon.
Trials requires you to win 7 matches without losing more than 2 if you're on your first Mercy card. This can take between 30 minutes to an hour depending on skill level. If you are able to go flawless, you are guaranteed a trials weapon, an adept trials weapon, an ascendant shard, a -blam!- -blam!- memento, and a chance for a cosmetic item.
Understand, that is if everything goes smoothly, which it definitely won't. You will win 4 matches, lose 2, reset your card, and try again. You've essentially wasted all that time since the goal is to go flawless. And the loot you receive will probably be 2 trash weapons and an ascendant shard you don't need for 2 hours of work.
This is bad and it's obviously bad. Going flawless should be a loot shower. You should get 2 ascendant alloys, 2 ascendant shards, an masterworked armor piece with 68 base stats, an adept weapon, and an additional weapon, the memento, and that chance for a cosmetic.
When I see people go to the Lighthouse for the first time and I hear their excitement, I feel terrible. They are about to get a pittance for doing something that was excruciatingly difficult to attain for them. They deserve to see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, not the modern version of 2 tokens and a blue.

Edited by Hupakko: 10/1/2023 10:03:56 AMThe thing is, you get the loot after going to the lighthouse (and start grinding wins). I grinded over 40 Igneous drops last week with flawed card, and like 10-15 golf balls. After you go to the lighthouse, every win of you card can drop weapon or golf ball (even flawed card). Drop rate is somewhere around 20-30%
