So. As we end off the primary part of this seasons, we seem to be getting more and more hints as to what the next possible season could be, but what stands out to me is the constant hints about Ahamkaras. As such, I believe that next season will be called Season of the Dragon. How else do we follow an ancient being with the intelligence and Knowledge of an entire civilization, that became even more advanced than we did. How do we follow it when it’s able to create a stable connection between the Veil and Traveler, when we didn’t even know the Veil could do that. We needed Ahsa to learn this information.
So, how will Season of the Dragon play out. We know that Mara Sov has one last Ahamkara egg, and so it seems to be time for Mara to hatch the egg, and give us our final, 15th wish. The problem with Wish Magic though, is that it will always bite you in the butt. That is, unless you take advantage of the Wish Wall in order to create a safe wish. With that Context, I believe that the Season will play out with us first Securing the Dreaming City, and then breaking the Curse emplaced upon it by Savathune (who just so happens to be alive.) as the curse provides a gateway for the Witness to control both Taken and Scorn forces within the Dreaming City. By finally severing the curse, we give the Awoken people their city back, and secure the Wish Wall so as to create a connection between it, and the new Ahamkara. We get our wish. That is unless the Wish Wall is damaged or destroyed. This then Pushes us to prepare. First, for the continuation of reclaiming the Last City for the Awoken. Second, for the eventual sacrifice the character who made the Wish must make, and Third, to go and venture into the Traveler.
We must undue the Great Hunt, and bring forth the final Ahamkara.

1 ReplyEdited by xbroggiex: 10/10/2023 3:36:19 AMHere is how the seasonal crap will most likely play out... Queue epic season trailer drop 2 hours before release showing off all the cool new cosmetics you can buy! Especially show a shot of 3 guardians doing the new finishers in slow motion. Season releases and players have good first impressions then it slowly fades because the seasonal model sucks and the activities are boring. Queue the complaining from streamers and youtubers because they have no content until TFS. Story will just be poorly written tripe like we get each season like "gaudian we ned u to fight teh vex to geet informaytion on how 2 make teh best wishy." then characters will say its a bad idea each week for 6 weeks then week 7 will culminate in a 20 second cutscene where the characters explain to you what is happening because the budget is too low to make it visually rich enough to explain itself.

Maybe… it has the best likelihood. The Wish card from this season points to this heavily. A major focal point of the season was the Sorocide lore book. This is a book generated using secrets of Savathun, Xivu, and Eris. In the end, the final card was The Wish: a card detailing Riven on its face. Riven was controlled by Savathun, the same person who supposedly knew how to follow the witness. In the past week’s lore stuff we find out that “we already know what we need” to follow the witness. I believe that this points to the last book of Sorocide and The Wish card. We’re going to need an Ahamkara wish (known to break the laws of reality) to follow the Witness. The last “living” Ahamkara is Riven - in the dreaming city. I believe next season will involve us breaking the curse on the dreaming city and obtaining a wish from Riven (at a cost of course). I also think it’ll end up being a fallen-heavy season, likely finishing Eramis’s story pre-final shape. I imagine Eramis defects from the witness and helps us get what we need for Riven. Maybe not a fallen villain season but a Scorn one. Idk, just my rationale. TLDR: The last card for the season is the wish and has riven on it, so we’re going to need riven’s wish to follow the witness. Eramis finishes her story line by turning on the witness to help us barter with an Ahamkara.

1 ReplySo glad they went out of their way to have that side plot of Ashir in the Vex Network and then proceed to never resolve it.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 10/10/2023 11:44:46 PMI think there’s a strong possibility that should the next Season (or possibly the third, Hive focused, Episode following the Final Shape) focus on the Ahamkara and Wish Magic that the storyline will include the Vanguard trying to prevent Xivu from wishing to resurrect Oryx. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

7 RepliesEdited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 10/9/2023 4:08:08 PMNah, we are going to Wrap up Eramis's story , haven't had a Eliksni/Fallen season in a while(plunder), and they are saving Xivu for later , and they have abandoned DC Eramis is an unwilling Disciple, and Xivu won't be able to force her soldiers to fight for the witness anymore , so it's time she puts all her cards on the table

Season of the Puppet All the lore is seemingly directing us to it... the revelations of manipulation. Immaru said Savathun has plans for Ahsa... Xivu's memories stated outright that Savathun engineered all the Hive conflicts. Savathun told us that last week, " O' murderer mine". There is a veiled statue in the DSC that Clovis worshiped... representing the Wolf mother. We found that same statue at the end of Whetstone at the bottom of Titan's methane oceans where Ahsa is... and it was meant for us (if you do the collectibles there's added dialog at the end). And there's an Effigy of Isis in the Dreaming City. Next season Mara's corruption starts to be exposed. I believe acquiring the heirloom will be the reveal moment. Savathun's heirloom.

3 RepliesLast i checked, the Wishing Wall was Bound to Riven. Either a New one needs to be made, or This new Ahamkara needs to be bound to it. And if my memory serves me well, Ikora said "The Form it has taken"..Tells me it already Hatched. Lets be honest, Bungie will F### Next season up. I'll Watch, but im not hyped.

2 RepliesSome ahamkara themed ornaments would be 🔥🔥🔥 Imagine the helmets open up when you’re supercharged or something like riven.

You're giving bungo way too much credit. Be honest with yourself. We'll get some slop put together in an afternoon by individuals that have never been allowed to fail. There's no plan or coherent narrative.
