Attrition Orbs is the most useless perk especially on special wpns
Attrition orbs is the worst perk of the season, change my mind.
This is up there with Underdog perk

1 ReplyIt should be activated on number of hits, not percentage of mag, so only some weapons are good with it, but at least it’s used, like how triple tap is only good on snipers linears and lmgs

2 RepliesIt's an okay perk, but it should be in column 3 not 4. Also maybe reduce the hits from 75% to 50% or 40% of the mag.

As a perk it's a great concept by itself but in true bungie fashion the execution of the perk in game was absolutely terrible

I would use it if the orbs dropped at your feet. That way you could spend a weapon perk on having better charge uptime. As is, you make enough orbs anyways, and shoot to loot realistically is a little better. That said, Shoot to loot and attrition orbs would be a sorta interesting roll.

5 RepliesI disagree the orbs generated by the perk aren't tied to the 10 second cooldown that abilities have. Orb based builds can make great use of it.

The ability to get woven mail without the need for a kill has potential. The perks next to it tend to be not good enough (yet) though.

They always add these new garbage perks and introduced them. Then they buff them and make them overpowered two seasons later ,this is a pattern.

Attrition orbs is designed for the ad clear and support position. Great for long drawn out boss fights like the warlords ruin boss. In a raid setting, i can see attrition orbs being very useful. Like you think were out here running kill clip on a rocket?

4 RepliesIn gm's sometimes impossible to kill 2 or more adds to generate orbs , at the same time people are very low about buildcrafting, i mean putting syphon , heavy handed etc. mods to the armor. So just shooting beefy enemies and generate orb is super strong. Just fighting with boss and gaining your super 2x more then regular.

If it’s in the 3rd column, it’s amazing. Orbs are about 0.8% super energy and also power all your builds. Having this on a weapon as a support perk for PvE is very nice. Right now it’s really only viable on Adhortative, but if we get other guns with it in the 3rd column it’ll be pretty solid. It’s like Unrelenting. A not so great perk in the 4th column, but a very good perk in the 3rd. Edit; it makes small orbs not big ones.

3 RepliesConsidering Orbs are the center point of builds now and Orb generation got nerfed (for no reason and no effect) it's a solid toy for full auto stuff.

With Attrition orbs you can generate orbs by doing damage and keep those armor charges perks going... also, it helps to finish the "Round and Round We Go" Seasonal challenge in no time.
