There’s not enough, we need more. Give us 50 minimum, especially seeing how complex you’ve made your buildcrafting system.
You can never have enough loadout slots, it’s not hard to implement, and there are 0 downsides. Y’know, for a game with >100 exotic armours for each class, tons of mods, tons of exotic weapons and subclass combinations, you’d think there would be more than only TEN slots…
Monster Hunter has 224 loadout slots. Most are unneeded, but that’s why we love it. Excess over decifit.

1 ReplySave your loadouts to DIM then only have what you’re currently switching between regularly on your 10 in game slots. Transfer them into the game by equipping from dim in orbit then saving as loadout.

Loadouts are great but a few things would make them better. 1. Increase loadout capacity and organisation using existing menu U.I Open loadout now shows element icons in a drop down menu> selecting element opens up new side menu with 5 loadout spaces. Same menu but now has 25 loadout slot across each element divided into 5 sub loadouts, can be expanded with no impact on overlapping background. 2. Loadouts that mirror reserve weapon and armour slots This would allow loadouts to remember reserve slot items weapons/armour allowing for quicker switching of gear that is optimal for build. 3. Loadouts that remembers artifact selection This again would help when building loadouts and speeds up player experience.

1 ReplyI’m surprised there isn’t someone here trying to shoot down your simple request for something that can only improve the experience. Either that or I’m speaking too soon and the Bungie defense squad is gearing up/going over their mission plan.

This is the issue we have - the game has 5 subclasses now. There are only 10 loadout slots. That's simply not enough and stops people wanting to try out different builds coz they need to make space for them. 20 loadouts would be perfect.

Edited by Soundwave: 3/9/2024 5:17:54 AMI also really want the ability to sort the order my load outs are in. EDIT: maybe if we also get like 50+ slots on each character we could have the ability to open up a separate screen, kinda like the mod menu that shows all our loadouts and we can pin 10 to the side menu we have now. That way we can fit it all in the UI

2 RepliesI only have 6 slots because I can't figure out how to unlock the other slots. I'm guessing I'd have to do a raid or something like that.
-
3 RepliesYeah I’m constantly finding myself going in my vault and switching stuff over cause I have no space in my loadouts. Maybe instead of 9 weapons per each slot it could be like 12 or 14.
-
They'll make it a silver option in the future
-
It's true. Like everything else they give the bare minimum and gatekeep half of that behind activities only 2% play.
-
1 ReplyBe on my level and only have 6 available 😂 Need to work out how to use dim properly i guess
-
I use DIM to manage excess loadouts but having perhaps up to 10 more would be beneficial so I can switch to alternate loadouts during activities rather than being in social spaces or orbit.
-
That'll be 1500 silver for every additional slot please :) Thank you come again :)

2 RepliesI have mine set up for all 5 subclasses on the left side, saved with whatever my favorite subclass builds are for the season. Two on the right are for PvP, mainly Crucible and Iron Banner sets, then one for Gambit. Gives me two remaining for random builds but I find myself usually wanting to keep them and regret saving over it. A few more would be amazing, maybe not as much as 50 but up to another 4-8 would be reasonable.

I agree. I am always having to delete loadouts to make space for new ones. It’s annoying because then I have to write the loadouts down and then if I want to use them I have to equip everything all over again. I think 20 loadout slots is enough, and remove the need to rank up the stupid Guardian Levels to have the loadout slots. I mean you really have to be compensating if you’re at Rank 11.

Haha you dreamer ! Took 9 years to get load outs so yeah good luck

You can never have enough loadout slots, it’s not hard to implement-
Says who?

I didn't understand what the big deal about having saved loadouts was...........and then I unlocked them. I could certainly do with a few more, an additional 4 maybe? Of course, there's always DIM to save loadouts as well, but I like the convenience of having them in-game.

4 RepliesHow about we start with a 2nd page... so 20 per character would be nice.

Really good suggestion!👍

Edited by rednayeL: 3/8/2024 7:10:10 PM10 for every subclass, 50 for every character .

1 ReplyI would love this. I seriously don't understand why there are only 10 slots but dozens of exotics for each class. There are so many options to buildcraft, it's one of my favorite things to do in the game. Unfortunately, the available number of slots is so minuscule compared to the amount of options available. To make matters worse, there are so many things to keep track of now (mods, aspects, fragments, cosmetics, shaders, gear-specific perks) that manually changing between them often is unreasonable. We could really use more slots. Buuuuut I can already see 3 ways of how that's going to go over. Bungie will either: A) actually be cool and give us another 10+ per character (which still might not actually be enough) B) give us 2 extra slots per character with some sort of excuse about coding and memory issues C) "We're listening and we here you want more loadout slots. We've introduced [Eververse item] for 1,200 silver each that will unlock an extra loadout slot up to a total of 25 slots!"

AND let us name them!!! Heck I want to organize them too, at least move them around by drag and drop if nothing else! There's few things more aggravating than needing to make a quick change in an activity and then get killed because oppps, you grabbed the wrong one and took to long to find that wrong one to boot! I love the system but it needs so buffing! (Meaning we will never see it happen!)
