started happening after update 7.3.5 ( the one before into the light )
the application goes through but the lobby page does not popup
only workaround is to shutdown the game and restart it, when you log back again you get the popup "rejoining lobby"

Please remember the notion of "application": you are often one of many others asking to be CHOSEN by the person who made the listing. If they don't choose you, and they don't specifically DECLINE your application, you are left (stuck) with waiting for it to time out. Or, you could choose to apply to a different listing, and force it to cancel the previous application, Unfortunately, some who make a listing will get too many applications to be bothered with declining all of them.
